I am an iOS person, but picked this up because my family (not me) plays Pokemon Go (they could be professionals if there was a league). There is an iOS issue with Pokemon Go that prevents the purchase of items. Niantic is aware, but has failed to fix the problems. Each family member has logged-in to their accounts on multiple iOS devices and eventually were prevented from purchasing items. This is a Niantic issue, not an iOS issue. So, to make the family happy (and to not having to be the IT guy trying to fix this problem), I sought out a cheap Android tablet since the Niantic problem is not an issue with Android. I find the unit quite sluggish - there are probably newer tablets that are more responsive. I'm not that impressed with it, but it will get the job done if your tasks aren't too demanding. Checking email, web surfing, etc should be fine. I don't think it could handle high memory using apps, since the ones we are using are not and they are sluggish. My comments have nothing to do with comparing iOS and Android. While different, I adapt easily to technology and did not find the navigation differences difficult - the average user changing from one to the other may have a steeper learning curve (I like to push buttons, so I have no fear to tap until I find my answer - it also makes me unable to work for the Department of Defense). Bottom line - this is probably fine for a kid/young teen. If you are a "power user", step up to one with better specs.

This replaced an older 7" model that was primarily used for meditation practice. It does what I need it to.

Incredible tabled super comfortable and easy to wear, I have had no problems with it, I recommend it.

The speed and display is very good. Perfect size to use. There's lots of software available.

I waited a long time to buy this tablet. My old Samsung was on its way out and I wanted another Samsung so I could transfer my files & games to the new one. That didn't happen. I had to start every game over! Even June's Journey, I know it's not Call of Duty or Fort whatever but I am not a teenager... Plus the tablet shuts down without warning...battery is charged, I have the setting set at 30 minutes idle b4 shutting down, doesn't matter. It has a mind of its own.
