I bought this as my sons tablet bit the dust and it wasn't compatible with the google family link app this one is, i also got one for my daughter before this one and that feature is better than the amazon fire tablets. Couple that with the samsung apps for kids and its the perfect and secure tablet. You can keep them from downloading ANY app without your permission and then you can ok it from your phone which is great as I'm at work and can still ok it away from them. You can block system apps also like a web browser so they only have what you want. It has great storage enough where your not having to constantly delete/move apps due to system data taking all the space and you can use a SD card on top of that.

Great tablet not to big, easy to set up, fair price would recommend it to anyone

I bought this because I kept running out of room on my old tablet. It is a little bigger, has much more memory (my husband bought it, I don't know about things like gigs), and the screen and photos look bright and vivid. The only things I don't like are: 1) it is heavy to hold for a long time (because of more memory, I guess); 2) the charger is on the bottom, which is awkward if, like me, you like to leave it in all the time. I have gotten in the habit of pulling the cord out when using the tablet, so that's OK now. Highly recommended for anyone who plays games like Solitaire (can't say about real gaming, I'm 70) or likes to read Kindle books.

I purchased the samsung galaxy tab A for my nine year old daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loved it. Best Buy didnt waste any time shipping it to me. I purchased during their black friday sale at a price I just couldn't resist. I would highly recommend shopping at Best Buy! This tablet has such a great picture and it holds its charge very well. I was very pleased with this purchase.

I have purchased many Samsung products over the years. Some have been for my use. Others have been for family members. This tablet is replacing one where the screen has separated from the case. In the course of time you will find a product that will fail such as the screen on that tablet. The tablet continued to work just with the screen separating. This new tablet is bigger than the 7" one it replaced. It works well. The picture is clear and bright. The draw back that I have noticed is that the charge/USB connector is located at the bottom of the device. This is of no real concern. It is just that for proper orientation of the buttons etc the cord will get bent from the pressure on it. Other than that I would buy it again.

Overall good tablet for what your spending on it. It is a little laggy when you first start to use it but seems to do all right once you’ve “woken” it up. Not the fastest processing speed but if you have some patience it is a great buy for how much you spend. I think the size is nice to. Easier to hold versus a larger device with a bigger screen.

This tablet was exactly what I'd expected. I use it to draw (I had to buy a universal stylus from Amazon, it is NOT compatible with the Spen.) I even got it used in excellent condition. which saved me a good 20 bucks, which I used on a 1 year protection plan! The only downside (as is with most tablets and laptops) the camera quality isn't that great, but since I need to save and download things constantly due to me going through the process of digital art making, I'm very used to taking pictures on a camera and uploading it elsewhere.
