Have enjoyed streaming video in high definition and playing games on this tablet. Little slower to boot up and start games, but once going it is great. Highly recommended.

PROS -its a Samsung CONS -its super slow and not for gaming/apps Bought this to replace my kids Amazon tablets as they were getting older and wanted better games on Google PlayStore. The screen resolution and battery life seem fine, but the graphics and processor definitely lags behind when it comes to apps or gaming of any kind.

Fast enough to do what they need to do with it, costs low enough to not worry about the fact that they throw it around like idiots when you catch them using it after lights out.

Small tablet handles what I need. I mainly use it to control my item's with the various mixer apps I use playing at different churches.

I bought this tablet to use for work, mainly for word type documents. The battery life is very good and I've left it on overnight by mistake and still have many hours left.

Was able to load all my daughter's favorite apps on the tablet and for a great price as well. But to future proof I would recommend getting the 16GB or get a microsd card

Solid tablet, it isn't the fanciest tablete out there with the newest hardware, but it is more than adequate for normal daily use!

Nice tablet very compatible with my Samsung phone.. near seamless compatibility actually.. just wish that the screen was another inch larger but overall very satisfied

First let me say this in my second tablet from Samsung as the first more or less self-destructed. After having it for less that a week it developed a glitch that a reset seemed to fix but no. In less than 24 hrs. it went into a self diagnosis loop from which I couldn't even turn it off. I've now had the new replacement tablet for just about as long so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Having made my purchase prior to the holidays I got a great price but so far that's the best thing I can say about it.

Purchased this tablet to replace an aging Nexus 7 2013, and the Nexus 7 was a faster unit running a newer version of Android. This tablet is still being sold new, and my 5 year old tablet outperforms it and is running a newer version of Android to boot. Returned it in exchange for a Lenovo Tab 4 8" (2017) tablet instead - it was only a $70 or so more expensive, but was a far faster unit.

Great tablet for the kids it has just enough space.. it has multiple functions.. it also had a parent app to limit and time and sort kids activities it just has a monthly cost.. other than that it was a great buy..

Typical Samsung android product. Good and reliable. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 when playing music cuts off after 30 minutes unless plugged in

Very slow tablet. Not something you want to buy in 2020 running apps, etc. It okay for kids since they're playing smaller lighter games on it, but consider this the Samsung version of the Amazon Kindle, and even slower. I wouldn't pay more than $50 today given the specs, features, and the fact that it's running Android from 2017.

Just needed a simple tablet and this has been great. Got it on a great deal with the open box pricing! Works like a charm great value!

My biggest complaint is that Samsung used an off the wall cpu in this. It is made by a company called Spreadtrum (which I was not aware of before finding out about the app in compatibility of this unit) and is ok in speed for general use. The app incompatibility on this thing is horrible though. Come to find out, all tab a units are using this brand of cpu. So please take this in to consideration when making a purchase. I found out of 287 apps in my list, about 30% were not compatible with this unit.

Trying to go away from apple products and got this phone, it was user friendly and really loved it.

Great tablet for old and younger folks who just need a tab to surf the web and download basic apps. No flash on the camera though. Loses a star.

I purchased this tablet for my mother to keep her up to date on Facebook and the games she loves to play. So far she has enough memory to do all of the things she loves. The price was just right.
