I first purchased the Samsung Lite tab e because of course; around the Holidays.. Best Buy always has amazing sales/deals i mean c’mon now it was only $69.00 buttttt after doing a bit more research after already had purchased it I didn’t think that tablet would be too great for a 25yr old (My boyfriend) esp since all the reviews on it were like “yeah my 6 yr old son loves it” “it’s a kids tablet” -_- lol sooo I kept looking he’s already Team Galaxy (unfortunately lol jk, no but seriously team iPhone/apple products all day lol) but I knew I would have to stick to a Samsung product.. ya know one for an adult though lol & also one that doesn’t break the bank.. I was a college student at the time soooo (I rest my case) (Go Bucks btw).. anywho long story short I stumbled upon this tab A & I was actually able to see it unboxed & toy with it before purchase unlike the tab e lite. & it was perfect, he opened it up on Christmas & completely loved it!!!!! & when I got the chance to play on it I wanted to go out & buy me one too lol. Definitely a great buy! It does occasionally lag when he or I watch Netflix or Hulu on it after so many hours, but nothing you can’t ignore. Also, the picture is so crisp.. seems as though everything you’re doing on it is HD not quite a 4K feel just yet but hey I don’t think HD is that bad for a tablet. Go out & toy with it yourself at your nearest Best Buy Location, you won’t be disappointed.

The unit does offer a great quality screen. But the unit does have some flaws. The biggest issue being the wifi is fairly week, and likes to drop out. The other issues are the bloat ware they load into the machine. Thing like Samsung Kids are not removable. But for the price, the unit does offer great battery life and decent speeds.

This tablet is limited with internal memory and Samsung doesn't sell 7 inch tablets with more than 8gb. You can transfer many applications to the micro sd card (not included). Some apps are not transferable. This has a good processor and does everything the 8 i ch tabs do. Some apps are not compatible with this tablet. Again, you are limited in space. This is the primary negative with this tablet. A great reader and entertainment player though.

The tablet is a perfect size for our 9 year grandson. If you decide to purchase you may want to consider purchasing additional memory. We just thought the tablet would be sufficient as it was bought; before the end of the 1st week of use, we started receiving messages to delete apps for additional space. The funny thing about it we may have only added one app. Overall, it was a great investment.

This is a pretty good tablet for the price tag. It contains all of the essential apps that you'll need. Fair warning though, 8 gigs is no space at all. If you have another Android product, and you attempt to link the two together, space will become an issue quite rapidly. I purchased this tablet for a few very specific reasons, so it suits my needs. If you game a lot, I would suggest getting the 16 gig tablet instead.

Very basic Samsung tablet, however for me personally it was not powerful enough for dedicated use with my drone. The price for the excellent condition open box was good enough for me to try this out, but the video was very choppy, the tablet had a very slow lag to it. Since this was my first Android device I thought upgrading to the latest software might fix this - the pre-installed Android 5.1.1 Lollipop cannot be upgraded. Another personal annoying issue was all the pre-installed apps on this device that took up well over 3GB of the 8Gb space that can not be uninstalled. Also apps running in the background dragging the 1.5GB ram way down. This perhaps affected the performance of the video problems, it was just something I could not fix or improve the choppy video stream. I did return this a few days later. Again, I was using this for simply one app for my drone and I just expected more, I personally need a more powerful tablet. This may not affect many of you. If you want a very low priced tablet, a gift for a with not a lot of bells and whistles, this may work for you. For advanced multi tasking this may be too weak to handle,

I like 7" because it holds in hand easier and can read books no problem. Display is excellent for price but not quite as sharp as ipad but certainly good enough. All my apps work well. Seems can't upgrade OS though as stuck at 5.1.1. Maybe they will upgrade later. The tablet is thin and light but appears to be made well. I don't see this for sale anymore as maybe they just want to make the 8" version but the 7" much more portable. This is made in Vietnam but quality seems good.

This tablet is the right size for people who like to travel with a tablet. Just make sure you purchase a micro sd card for more storage space and you're all set.

I got this for use around the house and it works well. The screen is very clear and the speed is fine for anything I'm going to do with it. Setup was easy and it holds a charge well and then charges quickly.

I was replacing another brand tablet with this Samsung. I mostly use it for casting to the tv via chromecast. Well chromecast doesn't play well with this tablet. I had to download a different casting app to realize the best experience. Has great battery life and plenty of horsepower for walking war robots which can get pretty laggy on lesser models. Not disappointed, but could have had casting support built in.

This is a great little tablet for the price. Fits great in your purse. Great for entertaining kids while waiting somewhere or for emails, reading a book, etc.

Great tablet to start your kids the quality picture and sound is great you may need to have it in a case since the screen is very delicate it could crack easy

Very satisfied with this Tab A 7" with WiFi as I like the bigger screen size without having to carry it in a separate holder. If you have a collection of videos on a SD Micro card you like to play in sequence, you will have to download an app. from the Play Store as (unlike the Galaxy 5.0) it doesn't have that program installed. Big thanks to the Samsung Technician, (not a foreigner outside the US) that explained how to get the app. This Tab A 7" was half the price of my 5" and does much more.

I was looking for a small, inexpensive tablet for reading books and magazines, and light web browsing. This nice little seven-inch tablet has been doing an excellent job serving my needs. It fits perfectly in my hand, and the books and magazines looks sharp and clean. I considered buying a bit more for an iPad Mini, because most of my other devices are Apple products, but I'm glad I went with this tablet. It seems to be everything I need and nothing I do, and all at a nice price point.

Bought this for our kid, it's very sturdy without a case....only complain is the 8gb storage which filled up immediately after he went nuts in the play store.

My teenage son purchased this tablet for its larger screen size (compared to smartphone) and lower price. It has performed well for him. Only drawback is that we bought the 8GB model plus a 32GB memory card, thinking that would be a cost-effective means of expanding memory. Unfortunately, most apps do not let you use that extra storage, so he would have been better off buying a 16GB or 32GB model.

Purchased the Samsung - Galaxy Tab A "7" 8G, Black, to replace an older tablet (ASUS), after the cat had knocked the original tablet to the floor & broken the screen. DH wanted another tablet, NOW! We wanted an Android tablet, and faster than the old one. We decided against a larger one b/c the 7" fits in the palm easier for reading. Very happy w/ speed, screen res, xtra memory, black (better backdrop for videos), and size. I would definitely recommend.
