Purchased as a gift, recipient loves the long battery life, watches movies and plays games which would drain old tablet in 2 hours. This one they can view 2 movies and play 2 hours of games and still have 50% battery left.

Used for a draw for a customer they say they use it for a coffee table.

Read several reviews before going with the Tab A instead of one of the more expensive lines (e.g. S2, Pro, etc.) and I'm definitely happy with my purchase. The performance is noticeably slower than the higher end models (some graphics intensive games such as Asphalt 8 Airborne will slow down appreciably sometimes) but for most of my ever day usage, this tablet excels. Screen is bright and clear, though not the highest of resolution. Along with the performance what also helped knock down a star for me was that the capacitive buttons don't light up which makes it extremely hard to find them when using the tablet in a darkened room. I did ask the Samsung associate whether they did light up when pressed because they look just like the ones on the more expensive models that do, and he assured me that they should but maybe the display models had been damaged from so much customer handling. Overall I'm definitely satisfied with this tablet and would recommend it to anyone looking for something simple, effective but far from top of the line.

I bought this for my six-year-old grandson hey thanks I'm the best easy for him to navigate maneuver he loves it and I couldn't ask for a better place to get it then Best Buy they match all competitors pricing it's great

I switched from a 10 inch tablet to a Galaxy Tab A. 8 .16 GB and I'm glad that I did.The Galaxy is easy to hold and has a great display. It is very easy to learn how to use it and it fits my needs. It is a great tablet for the price

Great tablet for my 8 year old boys. Bought them both one.

I purchased this tablet for my wife last Christmas and she loves it. She uses it all the time when watching movies. It gets the 5G wireless connection, which allows for faster downloads, basically a good internet experience.

SAMSUNG tablet much nicer! Quicker and much sharper image.
