This tablet works well with intuitive design. My main functions are to check email and read books. Both worked well. I have not had a tablet before, but with my wife's help got running quite rapidly, in one day, before a big trip to Europe. With WIFI on plane, on cruise ship, and hotels, I was able to review and emails.

Love the size & clarity of the screen, cameras are excellent. Surprised to find out when using the maps app, it will act as a GPS, so no need for additional units. Battery life is great and it has expandable memory!

It's small and easy to use. I think it is better than an iPad mini.

I had no idea I was going to purchase a tablet the day I purchased this tablet. I had been looking at a few different models. Then I was approached by a floor manager. He then introduced me to the Samsung Dept. I was sold! So glad I made the leap to purchase this device! Love everything about this and it makes a great on the go device and camera!

I purchased Samsung Tab A for my mother when her previous tablet quit working and she needed one quickly as she had just been placed in a rehab facility. It worked great, easy to setup and connect to the wireless network. The text is large enough to read and the graphics are great. Not a lot of gaming on this one but lots of reading ebooks.

I do much of my work out of the office visiting customers and subcontractors. Needed something that allowed me have access to my data, emails and files without hauling around a laptop or a briefcase full of papers. This is the perfect device. Wish I had bought it sooner.

My husband had a smaller Samsung Tablet for almost 3 years and since he used that all the time, I figured his eyesight could use a bigger version. He browses, prints, receives email and everything else he used to do with a laptop sitting on the sofa, and loves it!

Easy to use and the right size for travel and everyday use

I'm very satisfied with my Samsung Galaxy Tab A-8 great picture quality very easy to navigate compared to my wife's Apple iPad I think this is a good buy for less than half the price of the Apple iPad.

My fiancé loves it for his on line games (spades, bones, clash of clans, to name a few) & for just looking through the web. It's just the right size. Not too big that it's hard to take here & there, but not too small that you can't see & have to constantly zoom in. Great to use for work too! Apps already downloaded & come in handy.

I purchased this for my 8 year old son. Didn't want to get anything too pricey so I went with this tablet after reading several reviews. It has not disappointed and was definitely a steal at the sales price of $179.

I Iam absolutely happy with this samsung tablet. It really works great! The quality of the screen is superb and I love that is small enough to fit in a purse & is light to carry. I definitely give it 5 stars for the quality and price. If you get the Samsung cover for it it also stands on a very nice angle to read or watch movies :)
