I have had a few tablets over the years, but this one is my favorite. Its a great size and nice for travel. It works just like my Galaxy phone, which I really like, just larger. 8 inch is better than 10 inch in my opinion, easier for sitting on the sofa and easier to hold than a larger tablet.

Got this tablet for Black Friday. Had to snag one up when it was only $129. I primarily use this for a display when I fly my drones, but I also use it to watch youtube and Netflix. Good budget option if you don't want to pay a ton for an iPad. I have no complaints so far.

I got a family member a Galaxy S2 9/7 tablet for Christmas, and I really loved it, but it seemed a bit much for what I was looking to do with it so I got myself a Tab A 8.0. My previous android tablet was a few years old and this one was fantastic, the speed, the screen, the micro SD slot (won't find that on an apple), the Microsoft office were all really awesome. The screen is not quite what the Galaxy S2's screen is, that's the only real difference I can find, I use it to watch movies, read books, and stream a lot of sports and use Twitter and Facebook. I can't believe I waited so long to upgrade my tab, I don't have a single complaint on this one.

We got this model on sale just before the holidays. Great bargain at sub-$200. We had been using a 1st gen Google Nexus 7" which, at the time, was the best tablet ever. Switching to the Samsung 8" Tab A was a smooth process and newer specs/performance was instantly noticeable. I still wish all tablets came with a "pure" mode to eliminate bloatware but this tablet is very nice.

I just switching from Apple I Pad to the new Samsung Tablet, its amazing all the capabilities and easy wa to use it, I realy love it, and no more hassels with the IPad Drama to share and use external programs out of Apple Softwear.

I have had it a little over a month now and I love it! I am constantly finding new thing it will do but I have really enjoyed it. Very easy to use it have a Samsung 5 phone and it is like having my phone blown up into a tablet

Great tablet! Bought this for a child. Was a little concerned that it does not come with Kids Mode like the tablet we replaced it with, but it has the option to set up different users, so I can still control what my child has access too. Really happy with my purchase!

The size is great for reading eBooks and surfing the Internet. I didn't feel the need to spend more money for more pixels or faster processing because for me, it handles the two things I was interested in perfectly. I love my Samsung phone and I feel the same way about my Samsung Tablet.

Perfect size for my 6th grader. Easy to operate and was a great price.

This was a pretty spur of the moment purchase. We were returning another tablet that wasn't the best so we just wanted to look and then go home and research. A great sales woman showed us this one. We love it. It's so easy to use, especially since we both have android phones as well.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A is easy to use. While it is not a full-featured tablet its price point gives good value for the money. While I like its very light weight it does feel a little "cheaply" built.. The 8 inch screen size is big enough for most entry level tasks and games. I would recommend this tablet as a first, starter tablet---mainly because of the price.

I traded in my Samsung 7 inch for this and I love it. I have had iPad in the past but I abandoned apple for Samsung last year and never regretted it.

Loved this tablet. Screen resolution was great. Returned it though for the Galaxy Tablet A because of the memory upgrade options, screen resolution and bigger screen. This model (Tab A) also comes in the real black color. You can never go wrong with any of Samsung Galaxy products!

I wanted to upgrade my old tablet and this fit the bill just right. Large, clear display, larger 16 GB storage and easier access to e- mail and web. Easy to set up and use.

Great product I would highly recommend...affordable and very easy to use...light weight and attractive...I like the size...not to big or cubersome relatively inexpensive

I searched numerous websites on this Samsung tablet and on black Friday, Best Buy was the only store that beat that price by a long shot. I've been wanting a tablet for a long time and now thanks to Best Buy, I finally have one. Great tablet for the price.

Galaxy Tab A-8 does what it is supposed to do. I had Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 before. Its battery was totally dead at two years' anniversary. Tab A has newer version of OS, and feel faster than old Note 8. So far, I experience none or much less internet freezing or interrupt. It, I think, could be an aging issue for old version of Android. I don't remember I had this problem at the first few months of owning Note 8, but got more frequent and worse at its late live cycle. I notice all Android devices have similar situation, and guess it may relate to frequently upgraded apps working on a non-upgradable OS. Meanwhile, expect mediocre screen display. Note 8 has much more superior image quality. But, that's what I've paid. You need pick up high end models if you cannot tolerate it.
