I purchased this tablet as a Christmas gift for my wife. It is just the right size replacement for an older and smaller tablet. I had just purchased the 10" version and my wife felt that the 10" was too big for her.

This is a great tablet for many reasons. First of all the tablet can be used by a novice. This Samsung product can be operated by a person who has never operated a tablet before. You do not have to be tablet literate in order to use this particular tablet. Second I have a Samsung Galaxy seven android cell phone. I love the fact that the tablet and the phone are compatible. I can leave the phone in one room while in another room using the tablet and never miss a phone; because I can answer the call with the tablet.

The Samsung experience helped me make my decision I was ready to purchase a discontinued unit. They explained the difference and the additional features the new 7 inch tablet has including more memory and better resolution on the screen.

Perfect size and plenty of capability. It's so much nicer and easier than using my laptop all of the time. Convenient and easy to learn.

This was the perfect gift for my mom who's in her sixties and loves Facebook and Social media. She doesn't put it down, just like a kid, and loves her new tablet. It was a great anniversary present and she's happy!

I bought this to store pictures of my grandson. It's the perfect size for viewing pictures and very easy to scroll through them.

My son loves it and it's very simple to use for him and he's greedy with it lol he doesn't let any one use it. We bought him the otter box for it and he takes really food care of it.

I have owned my Samsung Galaxy Table A-8 for 2 months now. It has performed all tasks well and was an excellent value for the price.

I switched from a IPAD and there was no problem. Great screen and liighting. Very good chose of apps. Very light easy to handle .

The tablet is slim, a silky feel and very responsive. The color is good and apps load quickly. Most reviewers noted that the resolution of this tablet was not terrific. I would agree. If you were buying it specifically for reading, I would look further, but graphics don't seem to be affected as much.

I've had several tablets but this is my favorite so far. Very good camera which I need for work. Excellent battery life.

I didn't know I would enjoy the tablet so much! I like how easy it is to learn and like the Google app store being loaded on it when I got it out of the box. My Kindle was stolen and I decided to purchase this tablet because I was told I could still read my books on it using the Kindle app. Was so happy to find all of my books available on my great new Tablet! It comes loaded with Word, Excel, email, One Note, among many other things. I can do so much on it that I don't know what I did without it.
