    I bought this tablet as a gift for my father for Christmas. He is 50 years old. He just plunged into the tech world about 2 years ago. He has a cheap smart phone, a laptop and this is his first tablet. He is nowhere near fluent in tech but he makes do. He tinkers with it and shops on eBay. It seems to me he enjoys it.

    I got this tablet to replace an old Lenovo that finally bit the dust. The Galaxy tab A 8" has a nicer resolution and is slightly pepper. It works great for light games, surfing, email, and videos. If feels solidly built, but only time will tell. Ive had zero problems after one month. I'll update if I run into any issues.

    This purchase replaces a Kindle fire HD that I bought 4 years ago. The Kindle just won't work and I decided to go with the samsung. I love it. I have access to the play store just like on my cellphone. I have a Samsung note 4 and this is very similar to that. I have no complaints as of yet. Very happy with purchase.
