I didn't realize (and don't see it on the product description) that I was buying the old model Galaxy Tab A 8.0. I later found out Best Buy was selling the new version with more memory for less money. I think they could be a bit more forthcoming. No problems so far with the tablet.

Love the photos and videos it takes. Internet speed and viewing is great.

Too small and not fast enough. I'm. Surface pro guy so I had to return it

I have not purchased a tablet since the first iPad. I've held off since I use my phone more now that the screens are much larger. However, I never felt my phone was good enough for reading. The Samsung Tab A is clearly a tablet that is missing some of the features and higher specs of the Tab S. The screen resolution is not as good. The processor is not as fast. However, it is a tremendous value and a vast improvement over my original iPad. I opted for the 8" model rather than the 9.7". The screen resolution and pixel density was more appealing on the 8". The 9.7" looked less bright and vivid. I appreciate that there is a micro SD slot for expandable storage. I used this tablet all weekend loading apps, checking emails, watching videos, etc. I am very pleased with my purchase. The best part is the current promotion, which allowed me to trade in my old iPad and get $100.00 off my purchase! That makes this tablet a tremendous value at $122!

We use this tab with a credit card reader and have not had any problems
