Heavy little sucker for its size, almost as heavy as my Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Must be the big battery an possibly the display. Bought it at Costco- 90 day return, but got the SS book cover at BB as the included sleeve is pretty useless. It came with Android 6.01 pre-installed, which was a plus over having to upgrade from version 5. Not sure if and when it'll get the Nougat update. I bought it primarily for Kindle reading, but the screen is surprisingly good for web, email, video and other apps. Connected to my 5g network no problem. Battery life is pretty good. Performance is good, minimal lag. OS is good, SS software is pretty good as well. I don't mess with a SS account or offers, so I downloaded the standard Kindle for Android. Haven't messed with the included MS Office apps, so I can't rate them. Considered the iPad Mini 2, but I prefer the more open android system. Tablets and Phones are expensive, but this is a much better deal than the Tab S2 8.0. The S2 is lighter and faster and has an amoled screen, but for what I'm using it for it's a waste of money. After three days use I give it an initial thumbs up, and I've had good luck with SS products. Interestingly, this is the first SS phone or tablet I've had that didn't have lit navigation buttons. No matter, I know where they are, and it saves battery life. One thing you have to watch is to be careful with the micro usb connection. The one on my Tab 3 started malfunctioning after about two years because I was using it in bed while it was charging and the cord would get jostled a bit.

The tablet was quite laggy and the screen resolution was too low for my taste. I returned the tablet and purchased the Nvidia K1 Tablet.

It started out fine, but now it takes forever to load. I'm not even sure if it still works. My husband just ended up getting an iPad.

Set up was quick and easy. Fast, smooth, was charged at 62% out of the box, about an hour later it was at 100 percent. All my apps downloaded with ease. Took couple of pictures, you really have to hold it steady, but they are great looking. All my apps work. I must say that this is a replacement for a Best Buy branded Windows 10, 32 gig tablet that just out of the blue stopped working. Support was great, looked at it, determined not able to repair, gave me a full credit and replaced with this one.

My daughter loves her tablet. It's a lot bigger and better than her old samsung tablet

I have spoken with a best buy associate and they have recomended this tablet for gaming it's to slow and lags poor quality.

Would not buy agian had problems with 2 of them screen flash g all the time and screen locks can't turn it off or on

Great value,would buy again.this is a great smaller tablet to take to work, etc

Easy to use and navigate. My wife can read her emails and texts easily

Randomly locks up while doing updates until battery dies. There is nothing I can do to stop it. It is useless until the battery dies. Then it will usually come out of it once I charge it and restart it. I have had it since July and it just started doing this out of the blue about a month ago. I will be calling Samsung this week to return.

I would encourage to use this item for beginners without bothering.

Vast performance improvement over my tab 2 and tab 3. Would have been nice it ram was 2gb rather than 1.5gb. Only has 1 speaker and no infrared sensor. Good buy with $100 trade in credit. Not sure it's worth the $229 MSRP.

This tablet was just OK I returned it and picked up my iPad mini which is fantastic

Just glad this didn't have an explosive battery. Stick with apple products people!

Decent screen but a very slow processor. I really expected a little better from Samsung. Be sure to shop some of the other similar size tablets before you purchase as this unit is at the higher end of the price range and is disappointing

I was not in the market for a tablet. But since I had some rewards with best buy decided to look into it. I'm very pleased with this tablet. Is light, perfect size to carry in my purse and the quality of images is good enough for me. If you are lookinot for a good camera this is not for you. However. This tablet is excellent for reading and surfing. Great buy. Very happy.
