I have only had the tablet for a few days, but am very happy with the quality and ease of use. I research genealogy and can use this tablet with the app and take photos to add to the genealogy software. This gives it a big plus!

Unfortunately this item was not T-Mobile compatible, and the sales agent did not advice me of this.

had a hard time getting around -could not do what i wanted. returned it and bought an I pad mini

I $129 love this tab a. Now I would have to go to 3.5 for full price of $229. I have a kindle fire that is great for the price($99 on sale) that is just as good but I had an old tablet to trade that had 0 value and figured I would give it a go, way worth it. I also have an IPad 3 that is great, but that was $499 new and I have to say that the finish materials from the iPad is nicer but the over feel that this galaxy tab a is a great deal. I use ios, Android, Windows,linux and Apple phones/computers so I hope this helps.

It looks pixelated and it's a little bit slowly starting up and surfing on the web.

Did not like the display. Processor was slow. Bought an iPad...the new 9.7"...love it!

I bought this as a gift for my daughter and I wished I had bought one for myself as well. The screen size is big and it operates very quickly and smoothly. It has plenty of room to add lots of apps and the blue color is nice because most are black, white or silver. The only ding is the picture quality isn't as good as a mobile phone, but still not bad.

I love my new Samsung - Galaxy Tab A - 8 - 16gb. It has most of the features as my Samsung Galaxy cellular. The picture is high quality and it also has great memory and fast speed. I would recommend this for kids as well when downloading lots of apps for games.

This tablet is the perfect size, and it does everything it's supposed to quite well. My daughter rarely puts it down.

This tablet is fast, fun, good looking, and cheap. Never thought I get such a high-quality product for under 200.

I have an iPad Air2 and got this tablet when I was having the iPad Air 2 in for service since it was just $10/month and I'm stuck in bed so much due to a disease I have. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that I get wifi in my bedroom on this tablet, which I don't get on my iPad, so I am able to switch between them and not only will it help save the batteries but I can also hopefully switch to a cheaper cell plan. It takes a little getting used to because I am so used to the apple system, but I'm learning and it's not too complicated. The screen is larger than I thought it was going to be, which is a definite plus. And with the wifi, I can also used my MacBook Pro in my room through using it as a personal hotspot, which is also great. I really like it, way more than I thought I would, both using it alone, and as a device through which to use other devices. I have no regrets about buying it. Definitely well worth the $10 extra a month.

Just bought this tablet today and i would like to say this tablet is really great becasue it runs fast and has a lot of storage and a microsd card slot to increase storage space which is very nice and also comes with microsoft office on it already and got a free 6th month internet security which i think is really great as well.

This tablet is pretty awesome! It's the Samsung version of an iPad in my opinion! Same quality but better! Lol it's lightweight and very easy to use. I take it everywhere with me! I love it! Oh, and the camera quality is excellent as well!

I bought this in the "open box" condition. If I didn't know it was open box I would have thought it was brand new. Not a single scratch or scuff, came in original box with all accessories. The tab itself is very lightweight which surpised me for its size. The screen has a bit of a glare so I'm gonna have to get a screen protector to reduce that. But besides that, Overall I really like this. I'm using it right now haha. The sound on it is very loud as well.

After owning it for 6 weeks: I bought the open box when it was on special for $155. It came as good as new and I wouldn't have known the difference if not for the sticker saying it was an open box, In my experience it's worth saving money there. The tablet itself is light and looks nice. People have complained about the plastic feel of it, but I've never owned a high end tablet and it's solid enough for those who don't mind the material. It makes me feel I own an iPad. The battery life is at least 10 hours for light entertainment. It can be days before I have to recharge depending of what I used it for, It's not as good for games. Some eat the battery like candy. Still you can get 3-4 hours out of it in those cases. The 16 GB is a lie (like on everything electronic that you buy). When all is said and done you get 10.8 GB and the rest is eaten up by tons of programs you can't remove that you may or may not need. As most games and apps don't go on your SD card that's not a lot of space left. So be mindful of that when you make your choice especially if space is important to you. It comes with a USB cable that is not very long but does the job. It takes about 3 hours to recharge the tablet when at 14% or so. One annoyance that is more related to Best Buy than the tablet is that they give you a free antivirus trial for 6 months and the Geek Squad will badger you email after email to install it with no way to contact them to ask them to stop, I've never seen someone so adamant for me to install a program and I can only assume that if I do install it don't want to buy it in 6 months they will just badger me more to buy it. So be aware of that. To sum up: It's a nice tablet, with a good battery life for light entertainment. It has a nice feel in the hands. Be mindful of the lowered amount of GB available, the long battery recharge time and the Geek Squad annoying emails. I'd wait for a special on this one. At $200 it's too expensive, but if you have the budget go for it, unless you get a lemon, it's a good tablet.
