This tablet is another great tablet from a great company in Samsung. I also own an IPAD MINI 2. Apple has to be very careful because Samsung is nipping away at their heels when it comes to phones, tablets,etc. This tablet is great. The keyboard is very responsive. The controls for most functions are right on. The screen resolution is very nice and it helps that there are plenty of cases for this tablet. I recently bought a Lenovo 8 inch tablet which is good. I exchanged for this tablet and the difference is night and day.

I spent weeks researching tablets before deciding to purchase this tablet. I wanted to make sure that I found the perfect one, and I did. This tablet is PERFECT. It is the perfect size, perfect screen resolution, even the perfect color! It is simply AMAZING. I am super-duper happy that I decided to purchase this tablet.

I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab A" yesterday for my granddaughter, and she is really pleased with the way she can go in and out many web sites' and create programs with such ease., would definitely recommend this tablet for the ones that dislike having to go through unnecessary internet issues.

I owned a Nexus 7 as my first tablet. It was okay, but died immediately after the warranty expired. Asus quickly made my black list. I then bought one of those $50 Amazon Fires. You get what you pay for, but even less in that case. Complete garbage. I have a Galaxy S5 and have no major complains, so I figure their tabs would be just as good. I was right. The only thing that prevents a 5 star review is the resolution is sub par (though that is overshadowed by the brilliant colors) and it is a bit on the slow side, especially when installing new apps. Other than that, it is wonderful. The rear camera is amazing for a tablet. The front camera is sufficient for selfies and Skype, etc. but nothing to write home about. It plays games well (a little bit of heat will be noticeable with more graphic-intensive games. As an e-reader, it works just fine (some have complained with the resolution, but I don't have a problem). Battery life is very good. With moderate use, you should be able to get 2-3 days out of a charge, plus there is ultra-power saving mode. Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a solid tablet, but doesn't want to break the bank.

The tablet has everything a person needs and it's easy to use. I use it to read the news every day and enjoy watching movies on this tablet.

I have six children and numerous tablets. We've tried everything, LG (which I love), Samsung, and iPad. Tablets break, that's a fact, so what can we do about it other than flushing our money away? By a Samsung or LG and get an extended warranty that covers drops and spills and everything in between. Best Buys extended warranty is great! Sure Apple already has a one year warranty, but it's a joke. The worst experience I have had so far has been with Apple. When my iPad mini broke at 6 months I sent it in and they replaced it with another broken one. They refused to fix it and were very rude. I have since bought Samsung tablets with the extended warranty (which is still cheaper than buying an iPad) and we have been living stress free! My son absolutely loves this Galaxy Tab! He says its better than the iPad.

I have enjoyed using this tablet. Watch Netflix, check facebook and email, play a couple games, it's all good. Love the size, just right. Starts up pretty fast, much better than my Acer. Got a good case and screen protector from ebay. I recommend the one with a stand that pulls out on the back, works great. Bluetooth earbuds work great when I am watching youtube or Netflix. All in all, love it. Oh and already got upgrade to Marshmallow. Still waiting for my phone

Tablets are on the decline as larger and larger screen phones become more commonplace. The 7" and 8" tablets are, for the most part, the ideal size for mobile viewing and entertainment. If you're looking for something to be more of an office workplace enhancement, the larger 10" to 12" tablets, and even the monster 18" Galaxy tablet would be better suited for that. The Tab A 8" is quick, snappy, and very responsive. It's not bloated with the MagazineUX launcher that the previous generation Samsung Tablets used for it's interface. This newer interface is light, and unobtrusive. Very similar to a "Stock android" feel with a few customizations. Everything with this tablet is excellent for the price. I picked it up when it was being offered for just under $200. The only gripe I have is that it was designed in 4:3 portrait dimensions instead of 16:9 widescreen. It's a personal preference, not any actual flaw.

Screen is perfect for movies!!! Processor fast! Lightweight and beautifull. Better than my 7" Samsung Tab 4!!!

I got this tablet to replace my old Galaxy tab 2 7.0. I'm pretty pleased with this upgrade. First the trade option was perfect, $100 for the old Tab!. Also the new Android 5.0.2 Lollipop let me create multiple users in the tablet so my kids can't mess with my stuff.

I bought this tablet for my 7 year old - has a good amount of storage and is easy for her to use. Large screen is definitely a plus!

I wasn't planning to buy this so soon, but the sale was worth it. I love it. It's a great tablet for the price, and I love the battery life compared to my last one.

I've been using it for over a month and I'm amazed with it especially with the price. I can't lie. I love this tablet. I use it on a everyday base. It's so cool!!!

I was looking for a tablet that was small but convenient for my godchild(who is 13 years old). He loves it. He likes how it's small enough to carry around and he likes how easy it is to use. He uses it for his games and to help him out with his homework. I can say that I am very pleased with my purchase.

Samsung has the best tablet on the market. This tablet is easy to setup and to use. A++++

Great nice starter tablet. The size is good however the camera isn't the best. But at the price point its a good value tablet.

Nice small table.only 3gb makes it little slow.samsung should given it more than 16gb,but I was able too add 128 micro card, to down low my digital movies on it and sinks it with my Samsung TVs ,I can watch what’s on tv to my tablet,I love it that’s what got it for

Good value for money if you dont want to spend much on ipad
