Even though this tablet had amazing reviews, I was a bit skeptical about purchasing it as I am in college. I also didn't want a device that will become slow after just a few uses. Well, this tablet has exceeded expectations. I have had it for over a year and it works like brand new. Also, it is a very sturdy tab and has suffered numerous falls from my bed or my hands (although I have a book cover so that helps) and the impact has not affected it so far. The memory can be a bit annoying but I try to use google drive and onedrive as much as possible so I have a fair amount of apps and I also watch netflix on it. I will definitely recommend this tab, it is so worth the price!!

I enjoy this tablet so much. I've been surfing the internet, to playing games and this tablet just delivers. I bought it for college for mostly Netflixing but think it is so much better than that. I can actually do homework and take notes. Overall it is an awesome deal, and bought it an a great price.

My daughter is in middle school and has used this to play games and type papers. It does everything she needs. Good memory and storage. Got it because her Tab 2 10 in died. Very happy

Device is perfect for email, social media, quick web surfing. Product is durable and lightweight. Quick response and easy to use.

It's a great tablet. My only nit is that they didn't make it adobe flash compatible so you have to work around that at times. Hopefully they'll update that in the future.

This is my second purchase (first for wife). The 8" tablet is a perfect size to hold and operate. Powerful enough for nearly every app and streaming tv, videos, etc.

So overall easy to use tablet with great design that works great.

Bought this Galaxy Tab A yesterday and have basically been using it non stop since then trying to get a feel for it, trying to learn to like it. I...I just *like* it. It's a tablet. Nothing special than a lightweight glowing entertainment device. Now, my previous device, the Nexus 7 (2013) was something to behold. Smooth, intuitive UI, awesome resolution and not too overloaded with extras that you may or may not want. Oh, and it was flat. No protruding buttons or camera lenses. And the home button wasn't fixed in one place. It would rotate with the rotation of the device. It broke and since they've discontinued the Nexus 7 and needed a tablet, I went with this one. Should have saved for the Nexus 9. Oh, where's all the internet reviews and unboxings and stuff about the Tab A? Shouldn't there be something out there? I have a feeling Samsung dropped the ball on getting the word out and the Tab A will be quickly forgotten. It's a tablet, that's for sure.

I was using my note 5 to do everything, but this tablet is perfect, does what I need to do quickly, fast speed, of " os" nice bigger screen. Love this tablet, good dimensions. Feels nice. Comfortable.

Great for basic everyday tablet use. Not a powerhouse like the S2, but much better than most tablets in this price range. I upgraded from the Nexus 7 and am happy with my purchase.

My daughter burns through tablets like a maniac. This one had a good price and appears to work better than the super cheap ones. I'm hoping she keeps this one for a while.

I was really hesitant to buy this tablet because of the 1048 by 728 resolution, but it's as good as the original iPad. Now that I've got it, I'm really glad I did. Spend the extra money over the $50 tablet get this one!

I got this for me kids to use for fun and school work. It's a great size and cost was reasonable.

I purchased the tablet about 3 weeks ago and it was a really good buy for me. I mostly use it for web browsing and YouTube which makes it perfect for my needs. The only negative thing is that it does not have a flash (which I usually use for a flashlight) and a little for RAM would help when you multitask. The camera is okay but a tablet should not be used to take pictures anyways. Overall a really good buy.
