This tablet did everything I wanted it for performance wise. It has very good resolution (it might not be as good as their best models or iPads) but it is still very good. I can easily watch movies in hd on it and play games (which is what I wanted it for). However, the speakers on it are not good at all. This makes watching movies difficult without headphones. It would be nice to choose different colors for the aesthetics of the device though.

The Samsung Tab continues to be the best android tablet on the market, excellent build and durable.

Great price, for a decent tablet. Don't expect to have seamless capabilities on tasks, which require high processing capabilities such as high end gaming. This is definitely a great gift for a child who plays your common Android Play Store games. Furthermore, its great for school documents when used with a Logitech K480 keyboard.

Read several reviews before going with the Tab A instead of one of the more expensive lines (e.g. S2, Pro, etc.) and I'm definitely happy with my purchase. The performance is noticeably slower than the higher end models (some graphics intensive games such as Asphalt 8 Airborne will slow down appreciably sometimes) but for most of my ever day usage, this tablet excels. Screen is bright and clear, though not the highest of resolution. Along with the performance what also helped knock down a star for me was that the capacitive buttons don't light up which makes it extremely hard to find them when using the tablet in a darkened room. I did ask the Samsung associate whether they did light up when pressed because they look just like the ones on the more expensive models that do, and he assured me that they should but maybe the display models had been damaged from so much customer handling. Overall I'm definitely satisfied with this tablet and would recommend it to anyone looking for something simple, effective but far from top of the line.

It was down to this or the ACER $99 tablet. I didn't like the look and feel of the ACER and this was on sale for $69 more... well worth the purchase. Seems Samsung has gotten better with their tablets, operates smoothly, no freeze, the addition of the increased memory card really helps too.

It works great I purchased it as a gift for my mother in law and she absolutely loves it she's a beginner with any electronics and it's been very easy for her to understand, love the size perfect for watching videos and movies, not too big not too small.

I bought this gift for my best friend, and she loves it. If you need a tablet that is inexpensive but still powerful, this is the tablet for you. The performance is excellent and this tablet is very capable of performing the tasks that you need to do.

I just bought my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 4days ago @ Best Buy and I read the reviews before purchasing it. Very impressed with the product and highly recommend to those who are looking for a good and fast tablet!

This tablet is user friendly and the processor is quick and handles applications easily. Tried the Amazon tablet and it was as slow a snail in a hurricane. Plus the app selection was extremely limited. I'm very satisfied with the Samsung Tab A.

A right-size tablet. Not too large or heavy. Great screen resolution and plenty fast. Great audio and video recording - very clear. Always stays connected with good wifi access.

Much better tablet than before. I love how this tablet has external memory available. Takes good pictures as well and good resolution to watch videos.

I love the screen size. It’s not big as a laptop screen but larger than previous versions which is great. The processing speed is very good as well. Does great running multiple things at the same time.

The galaxy tab exceeded my expectations. Good replacement for a iPad mini. The speed is amazing and screen resolution is great. Android 5.0 has some really cool features that I'm really enjoying.

i purchased this tablet on 7/5/15 and it was working great until today. I went to turn it on today and the power button just pushes in and doesn't have any force to spring back. Looked at a bunch of different galaxy tablet reviews and apparently lots of people have these issues with Samsung tablets and phones...great
