My grandma has a Samsung phone and it was real easy for hear to feel at home with this tablet. But Samsung is a bad brand.

This tablet would not work with my system (Charter) after taking it back 3 times and being told that there was no way it will work, I wanted to return it and was told it was too late! 2 weeks max on return. So I had it a month, and during that month was in the store 3 different times for help and then decided to return it ....would not even give me store credit. Very disappointed in Best Buy. By the way, I bought an Ipad at Verizons and it works fine with my system. Total disappointment

Got it to play games on because of the larger screen than my phone. Works great!

I bought this tablet thinking it was a good brand and it has just stopped working for no reason! Shut off and won't come on at all! What a disappointment and waste of a lot of money. At least now I know that a cheaper brand would have been just as good. Seriously disappointed customer

Easy to use. The size is right for my purpose. It has a very nice screen.

Very hard to adjust font size, next to impossible. Reading a book is bad because the font size changes without notice and can't get it back. The pages turn all by themselves.

I purchased this tablet to use to control our drones. The tablet was slow, constantly crashing and unable to handle the software. Graphics look great but processing was horrible!

Not only are the graphics pixelated it has very slow load times compared to the cheaper smaller version the 7s! The back of the Tablet 8a got hot within 3 minutes of loading up the play store without even downloading anything. Choose the 7a much faster and very sharp graphics! You can even save 50 to 60 dollars.

I am having a problem with the tablet. I have been to the Best Buy in St Petersburg to the Samsung rep. Problem had not been solved. I am traveling for the next month, the reason I purchased the tablet so I wouldn't have to take my laptop!!!! Should have brought the laptop anyway!!! I will be returning the unit when I return home to MA!!!

I needed a tablet where I can read all of my e-books on the same platform without purchasing several devices. I use books on Nook, Kindle, and Google Books. And I thought maybe this Tab A 8 would be that device as the screen quality and lighting would not hurt my eyes as much. I was so wrong. This is a decent device but as you use it for a few hours it begins to lag on you. It is painfully slow compared to other basic tablets or even the basic iPad 5th/6th gens. And the screen quality is not that great, the texts comes off a little blurry. So it defeated the purpose of why I purchased it. If there is a silver lining in this, the matching folio case that you can attach to the 2 connector docks on the back is the best case I have ever used. It's a shame that Samsung has not carried that over to their newest Tab A or S models.

Nothing special. Expected some new style of tablet from Samsung. Disappointed. Returning

I'm not happy with the product but I don't have any choice right now so I'll keep it

This tablet broke a month after I bought it. It stopped charging. I brought it back to Best Buy and received an attitude from the cashier. She told me to contact Samsung. They had me send it back since it is still under warranty and they had it for less than a day. They returned it to me still in their factory test settings and they couldn't get it out. It is a month old and they refuse to reimburse me for it. Do not waste your time or money buying this tablet.

My daughter loves her tablet. It's a lot bigger and better than her old samsung tablet

Great value,would buy again.this is a great smaller tablet to take to work, etc
