Purchased to replace older samsung tablet. This new screen gives excellent viewing of all materials. Super fast processor for multitasking. Using S pen is a fun and useful feature yo be able to write on screen.

Purchased the Samsung Tab A for my pre-K age child. He has taken to it like a fish to water and it has never failed him. He has mastered the initial apps we down-loaded and moved on to more complex ones. Have not had to upgrade yet, but understood from the Samsung tech at Best Buy that it would be an easy process as my pre-Ker gets older.

I already own a Samsung S2 tablet and love it. My wife wanted something like it only cheaper. The Tab A fit the bill perfectly. No problem getting it started up and configured. She had no problem learning how to use it and really likes the 9.7" screen. Colors are really sharp and it does everything she wants to do. Well worth the price.

If you want a Great Quad core Tablet to do mostly web browsing, Gaming and everything your phone can do on a 9.7 screen with the beautiful S Pen available..Coming from a Note 5 Phone User. Love this product!!

Bought it for my mom who is 74 years old. Very intuitive tablet. She found it easy to use. Full size screen and vibrant colors. Upgraded to 64gb by inserting a memory card. So easy and far less expensive than ipad.

I have to say I have fallen in love with this tablet! Yeah the screen is decent nothing to fancy but don't get me wrong its great for watching videos at 1080p. Text can be a little pixelated along with some small images unless you zoom in. If your looking for a beautiful screen then I would recommend the Tab S line. For everyone else who just wants a tablet for some work and entertainment i really would recommend it especially if your on a budget! I would also recommend to get the S-Pen Variant! Does everything I need! I have a Note 5 so having all my S-Notes and scrapbook on my tablet is awesome and they all sync together. This has become my entertainment device along side portable computer which I bought a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse.

Obviously for a low price and a 9.7" don't expect the specs to be high end. The tablet is pretty heavy with a nice finish but the specs are quite low. Everything just looks pixelated, but I mean it's affordable and with the addition of the S-Pen the price tag isn't all that scary. If you don't want to spend much and have an average spec tablet, this will be a good choice.

Love the screen size and all the options available. Can answer my phone from it while in another room. The split screen is useful and comes with microsoft office products that can help you with minor reports from the job.

Perfect size run fast and travel easy great for on the go

Purchased this for my son who was deploying once again (his 6th) and decided he needed a tablet this time and not a laptop. Having been a die-hard Samsung fan and loving their customer support and products we decided that this was the right one. There was some confusion as to what is and is not available in the tablet like the ability to use a 256Gb memory card or if it had all the bells and whistles that were needed (wanted). Best Buy has updated the site to include the fact that it does have the GPS included and that it is Bluetooth 4.1 which were missing from the site and the Samsung packaging. The device can only be upgraded to 128 Gb and it will not recognize a 256Gb. The device is very sturdy and has a nice clean look and feel to it. The camera and sound work great and there is no loss of volume as you find on some other (non Samsung) products. It does take some abuse and keep working even in some very harsh environments (sand, wind, humidity). Highly recommend you purchase a screen protector for it and a good keyboard/case for it when traveling which also provides a way to hold on to it as it is slick.

The size is perfect for traveling with and so easy to use.

My 1st Tablet ever and very pleased! My wife has an IPAD mini and I believe my Samsung is much better for me because it came with Microsoft Office which I use on daily for home and business. Very user friendly, bluetooth, just much easier to use than my big laptop. I still use them both but typing is much easier on my new tablet.

Tried some of the cheaper tablets before upgrading to this one and I am very pleased. Very nice screen and the battery life is excellent. I would definitely recommend this tablet.
