This is a great tablet for someone who is just started using the Android system/Apps. I am use to Apple products, but I prefer this new Samsung tablet over my iPad.

I purchased this for my husband as he travels frequently. He wanted something small enough to take on the plane to watch movies. Fits perfectly in his backpack.

This tablet was researched by my husband and I love it. I love the size, the ease of operation, and the fact that I can open my excel and Word documents on it.

I got the Samsung Tab A 16gb for a Christmas present last year. I looked at several others, but read a few reviews and chose this model. This really is a great tablet for the money. I have had no issues with it, and quite honestly it performs better than my wife's Microsoft Surface 3, which was more than twice the price paid for this Samsung. She wishes she had bought the Samsung!

Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is an excellent tablet. I can't believe that it is sold under $300. I think it's an attractive tablet and fast. It's a great buy you won't regret.

I bought this tablet for my mother in law who is not very tech savvy. This is simple to use and does the job. The only think I did not like was the camera. Other than that it's fast and super easy to use. Would definitely recommend it.

I wasn't sure how I would like a tablet, so it was recommended I get this one. It was a terrific choice. So easy to work with and love how it syncs with my phone.

needed a new tablet and decided to get this one because it's the new model of my previous one. works great and greatly improved the looks and size of it. a lot thinner and sleeker and the screen is great. very happy with this product.

my husband bought me once last Christmas and my son was impressed by it, so we got him one for this Christmas. it is awesome to use to do just about anything.

I've watched people get so involved with this technology and just didn't get it until I got my hands on this. Fun to play with, fun to use, fun to learn with.

Excellent tablet, fast processor, light weight, easy to use, a lot of features

This is a decent budget tablet, probably best suited for older users. The resolution is 1024x768, which by today's standards is behind the times as it is the same as the iPad 2 back in 2012. Anyway, the screen does look very good despite the resolution, and brightness is very good (adjustable). It looks a bit better on the smaller device, but it allows for easy reading on both the web pages and reading apps like the Kindle app. Horsepower is not great, but for the most part you won't encounter any performance issues or skipping. But sometimes apps will load a little slower than you might expect. Overall, I think $299 is overpriced for the 9.7" version. I'd prefer to see it down at $200-230. It is half the price of many other cutting edge tablets, but it only has a quarter of the power and specs.

I had the first generation Galaxy Tab 10.1, so this is kind of a 'replacement'. It is sooooo much faster than the old one, but still familiar. I love it.

This is super nice, comes in real handy as can sync with my Samsung Galaxy phone as well as my wireless headphones etc. Nice slim design and easy to use!

Got it home and connected to my wifi with ease. I love the size. I'm getting older and the bigger screen really helps. I was afraid that by not being true hd it would be blurry but I'm happy to say it was very sharp and bright

The name says it all its another great product from Samsung. I have been using it now for about two weeks and it is fast and can do more things than an Ipad.

I have an iPad mini and the galaxy tab A is much easier to use and has the nice feature of the S-pen. I don't believe the low screen resolution is a big deal unless you are doing serious photo or video editing with this device.

The tablet has everything I need! Easy to set-up, light-weight, and fast!

Was most definitely worth the money! Was a gift but the person uses this everyday and can use her phone on the same screen as the tablet! Great investment

I needed a platform where I could show videos, pull up .pdf files and access websites while away from my office. I was originally thinking of a laptop with a flip screen but a rep from Samsung was at my local Best Buy and showed me that I could accomplish what I needed with the Galaxy Tab A. I have not been disappointed. It holds charge well and is easy to use. I only give it a 4 rating because I reserve 5's for something that really blows me away. But no complaints with this unit. Would buy again.
