I use this for in home sales presentations. The screen is large enough to have my clients view and interact with my website. It makes it easy to store information from my website directly to my tablet. Wish I had purchased it sooner. The battery life is excellent. I would definitely recommend.

Actually got the 8.0 Tab A not the 9.7 but it is still awesome. We haven't gotten a bad Samsung product yet.

I purchased this item for my dad and he is almost 70 years old. He loves it. Connects to wifi great with no problems. Items are easy to download and the size is perfect for him. Very user friendly and great for anyone of any age.

I would recommend the Galaxy Tab A 9.7. It's lightweight, responds quickly and graphics are good. My problem with it was that it would get too hot for me to hold. But to be fair, I have hypersensitivity and my skin feels any difference in temperature more than the average person. There wasn't anything wrong with the Tab itself, but I had to return it due to not being able to hold it while using it.

I purchased one for my parents and they love it. They originally wanted a laptop or Chromebook because of their past dependence on a typical keyboard and mouse. But they adapted to the tablet quickly and they really appreciate how light and portable the tablet is and how easy it is to use.

Have been buying Samsung tablets for the past couple of years ( I have a Tab S2 8.0, my wife a TAb A 8.0 and formerly a Tab A 9.7 as well, and I also used to have the Tab S2 8.4, which I miss immensly), and have been a Samsung product customer for the past few years. So I have no issues with the tablets at all. Easy to use, easy to sync to other accounts, etc, etc. Pretty much all you need for small time work and browsing, good speed and RAM for movie watching, YouTube, Google movies, etc.... Here's the "but", and has nothing to do with the tablet itself. It's the packaging and accessories that should have came with it. I gave this gift as one for my mother. Ordered online, got there quickly- without the charger that's supposed to come with it. For me? Not a problem, since I keep spare chargers around anyway, but for my mom who's 1500 miles away and not really savvy with this kinda thing, yeah it's a problem. Hopefully Best Buy will rectify when she brings it back once off vacation. Once this gets resolved, I'll bring this up to 5 stars and erase the second paragraph. Thank you.

My brother and I purchased this as a gift our mother for her birthday to replace a cheap tablet she purchased years ago that hasn't given her the bang for her buck. We are HUGE users of Samsung products whether it's a cell phone (I have the Galaxy S5 Sport, he has the Note 5) or the tablet (I have the Tab S 8.4, my kids have Tab 4's, and my dad has the Tab A 9.7), so why stop sharing our love. We know that she will love it and it's easy for her to use.

I was going to go for the newer tablet with a few more bells but I was attracted to the whistles this one had.

Love the Samsung tablet. It has a great display and much longer battery duration than my old Samsung Tab A.

I got this for a family member but wkrk with tablets all day and only recommend samsung. Such a great lroduct and not too highly priced. Awesome quality tablet!!

I use my tablet for games and to watch shows. It is a good size for those uses. I am satisfied with my tab.
