Tablet functions as any tablet should. Fast and easy, however the screen needs some work. I guess when the tablet was designed this is what was sacrificed for the cost to be reasonable.

I wanted a tablet to watch videos and more. I use plex for most of my movies and home videos. I had purchased a couple Amazon Kindles and wanted to have more android apps that Amazon does not have. I purchased the 8" tab A first and fell in love. This tablet does everything my wife's does and more. So I have purchased the larger Tab A now and love them. For the price it's worth every dime.

And I am very glad I did! I am very happy with the choice I made in this tablet. And the cover that I bought with it, well, I'll be reviewing that later. Samung always makes great products and this does not disappoint.

The basic functions are easy to learn and use. Performance is generally satisfactory, but there have been a few "freezeups"". Camera is not up to quality of the rest of the tablet.

Bought two of these for the kids and they really enjoy them. The screen resolution is great and it is like your typical android tab. I took off some of the apps cause I have no use for them and the kids enjoy the few apps they are allowed to use. You cant beat the price for what else is comparable

I was unsure which tablet and/or nrand would best fit my needs. The Best Buy sales rep was most helpful in his recommendation.

Love my tablet. Easy to use and just the right size to carry around. Great to watch movies or read your morning news.

I purchased this tablet to replace a HP Touchpad that I reformatted to the Android operating system. All I can say is WOW. I wanted a 4:3 screen as I wanted a table that resembles a book as I would use it to read more than watch movies or videos. The picture quality is fantastic. Reading is easy, and if the screen is too bright you can always adjust it. Watching video material is amazing. I would have no problem recommending this tablet for anyone who wants to purchase one.

Purchased this Tab A 9.7 for my girlfriend. It was a big hit, she loves it. Nice large screen and great battery life.

This is a good product for normal usage. Relatively fast with good size of a screen. I would recommend this product.

Plenty of useful tool on tablet. I hate how NOBODY fixes a cracked screen for any SAMSUNG. Broke the last tablet and even SAMSUNG reps said to buy a new one instead of getting screen fixed. Best advice: get a good cover for it asap!

right out of the box,feels solid, yet very light. the on screen keyboard is large enough even for my "chunky" fingers. The camera on this thing is is nothing short of amazing!

I purchased this tablet to watch movies and tv shows with Netflix and Verizon fios. I love it. I am able to watch with a WiFi connection. It has a big screen for viewing. Graphics card could be better. It does have Bluetooth that I use to connect my Bluetooth speaker for more vibrant sound. It is perfect for my needs. In addition, you can download apps from Google play. I have used MS Word to print documents. Priced at $229.00, I now have a mini laptop at an affordable price.

I love, love my tablet. It is very functional and user friendly. The color in pictures and other applications are amazing. It is well build and, of course, has all the great capabilities of Samsung products.

Like the screen size and especially love that it had a stylus pen. The resolution is great and nice and brilliant

The best in Tabs. This is the 3rd tab for my granddaughter; the 2 previous tabs were a different brand. Really, I wasted $$$ and should of bought this from the beginning. Great for school, homework and gaming.
