Wow! Great price! Great features! Excellent speed. Easy to set up and use. Just entered WiFi password and logged into my Google account and was done. Display is good. I don't need the gazillions of pixels in an iPad or the $400+ cost. Works great for me

This review is mostly for a specific group of parents with toddlers. Absolutely love the functionality of this tablet. My only downside is that it was purchased for a 2 year old, and unlike the older models, it doesn’t have any actual buttons on the main screen to go back or go home. Everything is touch on the actual screen, and even for me it gets a bit annoying having to touch the right areas on the screen to be able to exit out of an app or go back or home. For example, when my son is playing on an app and he’s tired of it, every time I try to touch the screen to make the home touch button pop up and be able to exit out, I just end up touching other parts in the game. There’s a special way you have to remember or teach your child to swipe up on the screen to be able to more easily get it to come up. Also when the tablet goes idle, to wake it back up it gets a little uncomfortable for a child to get to the side power button when a childproof case is on. That’s not technically a bad thing, just annoying if you’re a bit lazy like me and want them to be more independent. Lol. Unlike the other models, where you can touch the physical home button on the screen to power it back up; therefore, a kid could do it on their own. Other than that he navigates through the apps very well and the functionality and battery life overall is great!

The Tab A7 is an entertainment and research device that most users will consider plenty powerful. Coming from a 2016 Tab A-10.1, this tablet is snappy, well displayed and has great feel and presence. 32 gig is doing everything needed for my moderate to heavy power usage. Really happy with this. BG

I bought this for my 94 year old aunt. She needed a new tablet because her old one was too slow. This tablet is much lighter than my husband's 2 year old A7. It is very fast. I currently use an S6 tablet that is about 6 years old and this on is much faster. Setup was easy. I will certainly look at this model when I replace my tablet

product was just what i wanted, fast, lightweight and easy to use

My previous 2 tablets Galaxy 6&8 either got cracked screens or used up their functional memory. So it was time for a new one.I like the Samsung Galaxy tablets so I went in search of another one. The 7 is bigger than either the 6 or the 8 and has all the features Ive come to like . Tilted on its side its great to watch streamed videos and shows.

The review is for the 2020 Tab A7 which is amazing. For a base tablet it works great. It has ONE unique feature that really sets it apart for most other tablets unless they are cellular. It has a magnetometer sensor (Compass) which is different from GPS. This tablet will allow you to know which way is north. So for those of us that use tablets for navigation this addition is a real plus!! For those using drones a MAJOR plus. And for those of us not wanting to spend an extra hundred or so for cellular a hundred pluses. The rest of the tablet functions accordingly and for my needs it ticks off all the right boxes. Really, really well done Samsung. Apple take notice.

Easy to use, fast speed. Screen picture is great.

It works like lightning speed, I love the clear screen, which has the prettiest colors. the screen is smooth to the touch. the speed of google chrome is wonderful as each window opens fast to the touch of my fingers. it is just amazing. I am truly happy with my purchase and will definitely purchase another tablet again.

I bought this for my teenager. He is a gamer and was using a very old android tablet of mine to game since his ipad would not allow him to download certain new games. I thought about getting him a new ipad but did not want him to run into the same issue of not being able to download certain apps/games in a year or so if they were to do an update or change something. Also the ipad does not let you easily add memory which is a huge issue since he will be using it for school and gaming for years to come. Also many of the school websites don't run on Safari (Apple browser) so this one was a no brainer. He loves this tablet there is no lagging with Fortnite, Roblox, and any of the larger sized games that he has downloaded. I got him a bluetooth keyboard for his school work and a super durable cover from amazon.

Really great tablet for the money. Bought it for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it! Its fast and the screen looks great. She uses it mostly for games, YouTube, and movies but also plans to use it a bit for school including zoom.

I could not believe how quickly I can maneuver through this tablet and how fast the games load that I play on a daily basis. My previous tablet was a Tab A (which was at least 5 years old) and it was very slow and would freeze up. And with a bigger screen I can see the details clearer.

Great tablet, great value! Has no issue running anything from streaming to work emails to games. Price point makes this device a no-brainer. Haven't yet tried expanding the memory, hopefully it won't slow the tablet. Hard to connect this tablet with my text messages... hope Samsung will resolve this with newer updates. Final complaint is that Samsung doesn't make this model one size up. Too bad but can't blame them for wanting more money for the bigger size, better-processing tablets.
