I bought this for my 94 year old aunt. She needed a new tablet because her old one was too slow. This tablet is much lighter than my husband's 2 year old A7. It is very fast. I currently use an S6 tablet that is about 6 years old and this on is much faster. Setup was easy. I will certainly look at this model when I replace my tablet

I like this one just for the amount I think its really a good deal.

My previous 2 tablets Galaxy 6&8 either got cracked screens or used up their functional memory. So it was time for a new one.I like the Samsung Galaxy tablets so I went in search of another one. The 7 is bigger than either the 6 or the 8 and has all the features Ive come to like . Tilted on its side its great to watch streamed videos and shows.

The review is for the 2020 Tab A7 which is amazing. For a base tablet it works great. It has ONE unique feature that really sets it apart for most other tablets unless they are cellular. It has a magnetometer sensor (Compass) which is different from GPS. This tablet will allow you to know which way is north. So for those of us that use tablets for navigation this addition is a real plus!! For those using drones a MAJOR plus. And for those of us not wanting to spend an extra hundred or so for cellular a hundred pluses. The rest of the tablet functions accordingly and for my needs it ticks off all the right boxes. Really, really well done Samsung. Apple take notice.

I bought this for my teenager. He is a gamer and was using a very old android tablet of mine to game since his ipad would not allow him to download certain new games. I thought about getting him a new ipad but did not want him to run into the same issue of not being able to download certain apps/games in a year or so if they were to do an update or change something. Also the ipad does not let you easily add memory which is a huge issue since he will be using it for school and gaming for years to come. Also many of the school websites don't run on Safari (Apple browser) so this one was a no brainer. He loves this tablet there is no lagging with Fortnite, Roblox, and any of the larger sized games that he has downloaded. I got him a bluetooth keyboard for his school work and a super durable cover from amazon.

Really great tablet for the money. Bought it for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it! Its fast and the screen looks great. She uses it mostly for games, YouTube, and movies but also plans to use it a bit for school including zoom.

I could not believe how quickly I can maneuver through this tablet and how fast the games load that I play on a daily basis. My previous tablet was a Tab A (which was at least 5 years old) and it was very slow and would freeze up. And with a bigger screen I can see the details clearer.

It works like lightning speed, I love the clear screen, which has the prettiest colors. the screen is smooth to the touch. the speed of google chrome is wonderful as each window opens fast to the touch of my fingers. it is just amazing. I am truly happy with my purchase and will definitely purchase another tablet again.

Great tablet, great value! Has no issue running anything from streaming to work emails to games. Price point makes this device a no-brainer. Haven't yet tried expanding the memory, hopefully it won't slow the tablet. Hard to connect this tablet with my text messages... hope Samsung will resolve this with newer updates. Final complaint is that Samsung doesn't make this model one size up. Too bad but can't blame them for wanting more money for the bigger size, better-processing tablets.

I purchased this tablet for my 75 year old mother. She love it. It has the same platform as her Samsung phone. It’s very user friendly and very fast. I highly recommend this tablet. It’s very basic, large screen and great value.

I am in college and have found this tablet to have good quality, easy to use. It is convenient to take with me so I can work on my school work wherever I am. The picture on this tablet is awesome. I was pleasantly surprised at the sale price also. I am all-round satisfied with this model. I wish I had bought another one for my mothers birthday.

I originally bought the new iPad 10.2 and at first really enjoyed my time with it. Then after a week of heavy use I decided to return the iPad due to not liking that the screen seemed far away from the actual buttons making a slight lag that annoyed me. Also no usb-c. While waiting for the air 4 to go on sale I started looking into Samsung’s Tab line and was really intrigued. For $150 I was able to get this A7 10.4 tablet that has a much better screen, the same amount of vram and I didn’t have to spend an extra $100 for enough memory to last the life of the device. For $20 I added a 128gb microsd card. I may upgrade to the tab 7+ in the future for that screen. Regardless I am very happy with this A7 over the iPad and feel like my budget tablet needs are covered for the next year or two.
