So, here's the deal: this is the best budget 8 inch Android tablet. That's not exactly a high bar to clear though as all current Android 8 inch tablets are pretty bad. If you keep your expectations in check and buy this on sale, you should be satisfied. The biggest issue is that this only has Widevine Level 3 DRM so this means that Netflix will only play in 480p, rather than the 720p that the screen is capable of. It's watchable, but grainy. Samsung, if you are reading, please make a higher end version of this tablet with a 1080p screen, midrange processor, and Widevine Level 1. I would very happily pay more money for that.

So far so good. We purchased this for to use as a tool to help our grandson, he's autistic, it seems to be helping him out and he likes some of the apps my wife added. He's doing pretty well with some of then on his own. Which is good and bad at the same time. I'm glad he is picking things up quickly on his own but at the same time I'm not sure how much I like that he's gaining knowledge so fast.

Tablet does everything I need it to do! I mostly use it for social media, a few games, looking things up on the internet, and various tools (alarms, notes, etc.). It has plenty of storage for me and I've had no issues with anything - works exactly as expected. I do wish it had the sleep function my previous Samsung tablet did when I closed the case, but I'm learning to press the button to turn it off before shutting the case. The price was right and tablet functions well!

Good size. Kid friendly . Enough space for regular kid use. Definitely recommend for the price.

Wanted low priced tablet for occasional use. Actually does well with its 4gb ram & 64gb storage.

This tablet is so good, my kid doesn't mind getting in trouble because of it. Kid is always entertained with the different apps which look great, runs at a consistent speed, colors are truer to life, and it's easy to pick up and start using.

This is a great tablet. I got it on sale but at the regular price, with 4 GB RAM (64 GB model), it is a great deal any day.

Nice tablet. Great size for late night reading. Resolution is fine for browsing the internet and emails. Plenty of storage room. 64 GB and will hold a micro sd.

It was on sale and it made for a good Christmas gift. The tablet is pretty decent and also has a perfect size. It's not too big but also not too small amd plus it's Samsung so why not. It also came with a few free things gifted to me by best buy so thanks for that and if you are looking for a cheap good gaming tablet this is the one. If you just want something to read or draw this is also perfect for that.

Purchased to replace my 5 year old Asus tablet. Don't have a thing to complain about, made even better with the sale price I purchased it at. For my needs of email, light web surfing and streaming TV and movies this more than gets the job done. Ignore the naysayers complaining about Netflix streaming quality. A minor inconvenience when there are many other streaming services that are just fine on the device. I give it an A+ for the price level it is serving.

I had the tablet for a while, and I will say that it’s a great product to have, using it for a nice small tablet to have for travel is great, or if I want to watch a video/movie, the screen is perfect. If you need a starter smaller tablet, I call this the perfect option. However, the only thing I do wish was that this tablet had the ability to add a SIM card in this version, if I’m out on the go, I used my mobile hotspot to get online. Other than that, it’s amazing.
