Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite's screen size, ease of use, battery life, and price. Many also appreciate its ample storage, lightweight design, and sufficient memory. While some users noted performance limitations when multitasking, and the camera quality could be improved, the positive feedback on other features outweighs these concerns. Overall, the tablet is considered a good value for its price point.

    A great tablet

Prior to this, I've had 3 tablets, 2 made by Samsung and 1 made by Lenovo. This one is by far the absolute best. Even though it is a 'lite' version and a "lower end" tablet, it has great specs, including 4 GB RAM, which I strongly recommend as apps run so much better than with 1 GB, 2 GB or 3 GB. I was pleasantly surprised by how well this tablet runs my applications. It is well worth every dime.

The Galaxy Tab A7 lite 8.7 is a fine little tablet. I had a larger sized Samsung tablet that was years old, 10+", and it was too big and heavy. I use this one mostly for checking emails and playing games. The display is nice and bright and it's speed is fine for my use. This smaller size is perfect for my hands. No issues with it and I've used it a lot in the last several months.

We replaced an older Samung tablet with this model and took advantage of the recycling/trade-in discount program. That made is a better deal than Amazon or the others. Our kids love this one because of the brightness and the speed!

Love Samsung but this one quite slow as lower specs compared to S model. Easy though to carry around and lighter.

For the money, It's decent as a second (or third) tablet. I bought two of these, both set up exactly the same, but one works better than the other, so there are apparently some inconsistencies somewhere in the build. Also, the latest update had a noticeable negative effect on the slower of the two. I would never want this as my primary tablet, but for occasional use, they're fine.

I was previously using a Dell Venue 8 7000. It was the lightest tablet in the world when it came out. This Samsung is slightly larger and weighs about 80 grams more but was really easy to get used to. Can't say that I love it yet but it is a suitable replacement for what I was previously using and it is not an iPAD.

    A Mediocre Device

I am disappointed with this unit. By contrast, I loved my previous Tab A from Samsung. It lasted an astounding eight years(!) with zero issues. The only thing that forced me to retire it was the out-of-date OS that caused various app crashes. Seeing how well it performed, I was eager to upgrade. Imagine how much better the new model would be! With that in mind, I splurged on the new tablet with the expanded memory and storage option. Sadly, I regret that decision as this new model is inferior in every way to my old tablet. For reasons I don't understand, this model is strangely sluggish. From pulling down the toolbar from the top of the screen to launching and closing apps, this tablet has an annoying stutter as if it is struggling to perform basic functions. Interestingly, if I continue to use the tablet for over a half hour or so, the stutter mostly disappears, but why it is there at all is beyond me. Even in its elderly days, my old Samsung was always swift in the same activities with NO stuttering. The second thing that annoys me is the charging: it is much slower than my old tablet. Using the included micro-USB cable and charger, this tablet can take a rather long time to reach 100% (approximately an hour or longer from ~80% or so). My old tablet would charge in less than an hour from the same battery level. Again, a step backwards from my old unit. Lastly, while app performance is improved from my old Tab A (after eight years, how couldn't it?), I am surprised at the merely marginal increase in performance. I think this fact and the stuttering from basic tablet actions indicate that Samsung skimped on the processor or, quite possibly, it is the mandatory Knox security software gobbling up resources. All things considered, I do not recommend this tablet. It is a step backward from my old Samsung tablet. Seeing the many tablet manufacturers now available to choose from, I would advise trying a different brand as there is not much here I can recommend. It is a disappointingly mediocre device.

Great size, and lightweight, purchased this as a christmas present for a child and they were happy. the battery life seems great and the screen resolution is pretty good as well. It's great to use for some minimal gaming and web browsing.

    My Most Used Android Device

This tablet excels at two things. Small and cheap for a device with full Google Play compatibility. It also feels good in the hands for a cheap device. I find myself rarely using my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 now that I have the A7 lite due to the more portable form factor. The screen is decent for a bottom of the line device, speakers are solid for a budget device, and I only experience any performance hiccups with videos if I have too many open apps and haven't performed a restart in days. This may be my most useful device. I love it.

Does what I need it to do, mail, read books-nice size for that, expandable memory for photo storage and act as backup to my cameras. Good value but you might notice a little slower than your other devices but this has a nice value price for what it does. And finally nice to use same plus for my Samsung phone and now a Samsung tablet

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing A7 with my kids, and I must say it’s an absolute gem for families. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this place was designed with kids in mind. The variety of activities and games available kept my children engaged and entertained for hours. The friendly and attentive staff made sure everyone was having a great time. What impressed me most was the attention to safety and cleanliness, which is paramount when it comes to kids. The menu offered a delicious range of kid-friendly options, making it easy for my little ones to find something they loved. The portion sizes were generous, and the food was both flavorful and wholesome. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it a place where kids can be kids and parents can relax knowing their children are in good hands. We can’t wait to go back to [Tab Name] for another fantastic family outing. Highly recommended!

I like my new tablet. It's not too big or heavy. It's perfect for reading an ebook. Nice for watching movies, too. I'm so used to the quality of a Samsung tablet, I couldn't settle for a different one that had similar specs. This one loads programs quickly and has no quirky problems.
