Rough 'n Tough But dont do enough....

I bought it as a media and navigation device for my car and for that purpose it is excellent. I was however somewhat disappointed in the devices performance with some 3rd party apps as Stitcher and games. The fit and finish is excellent as i would expect from Samsung, it has a quality feel to it when you pick it up. I keep getting hung up on the performance issue, but you get what you pay for.

OK for elderly, but not great

I am used to an iPad, and I like the iPad better, but for Samsung wins on price. The screen sensitivity is not great, it is difficult for an elderly person. The on/off switch seems sensitive, when he grabs the tablet he keeps turning it off. Need to figure out if we can lock orientation (landscape vs portrait) it keeps switching.

Good Bargain When On Sale

It gets passed around the house and is just there for convenience. If you plan on streaming a lot of TV or movies I would get something with a better display. But this works well enough for watching YouTube, checking email, playing games. Get it on sale.
