Quite slow at opening apps, but considering it was less than $200 in cost, it's a nice little tablet. Excellent for reader use. Ok for browsing weather apps and reading news updates. But not really a good web surfer or production gadget.

I purchased the first one back in 2017 (older version) for my son and then purchased this new one for my daughter. It has improved significantly since I bought the 2017 version. The new model is faster and doesn't get caught up by doing simple things, like playing games or watching videos. However, it does show it's budget friendly state often. There are times when my daughter will be playing a game and the screen goes blank or freezes altogether. Now, normally I'd blame this on the game she's playing, but it happens on different games and the photo gallery too. I don't expect this thing to be lightening fast, but I do expect it to keep up with simple tasks consistently. It is better than last versions of the same model, but Samsung needs to bring the power up higher, even if that means a little bit more cost.
