Simlle to figure out and use, nice having the sd card expansion slot would have been better ifit had better graphics but fine for the price

Tablet works great for playing simple android games, streaming movies, but okay for stream gaming. Tried it on xbox game pass and ps now. It runs the games smooth but resolution is not great. It looks like your playing in 480p. Yes i know its a budget tablet but ive seen other budget tablets run stream gaming better than this. For everday use and streaming movies is great. It you looking game on it, i would move to something better.

I love this tablet. This is replacing a Tab7 and there is a world of difference. The response is very fast.

I originally bought the Tab A8 as an open box in excellent condition and while it was physically excellent, using it for test runs in the first few hours the screen malfunctioned and there were what looked like digitized discolored thick lines throughout the screen. I went in store to buy a new one since the sale was priced closely to the open box price. Upon the first few hours of use, I noticed the screen registering ghost taps and there was one instance where it was difficult for me to restart the device since the screen registered many different touches. I restarted and updated it and haven't ran into that problem ever since, but it is something significant to note. The build quality is not what I'd expect from a big brand like Samsung and at this price range. The right edge of screen where the glass meets the back is not smooth on my particular tablet, and you can see rough edges of the plastic. My criticism stops around there because the system itself is what I expected and needed for just casual use and streaming. The resolution on video streams are at least HD for most of the time and refresh rates are fine. I opted for Samsung's Tab A8 since I've had good experiences with their products in the past and the A8 is supposed to have future updates for a few years, but this is the worst Samsung product I've used in while. For the price I paid, it's okay but there a lot of lower tier tablets I'd try first before buying another Samsung Tab.

I love this tablet. I use it to control all my smart devices and use it as a smart dashboard.

Love the size and screen but freezes and gets glitchy a lot with simple things like Netflix

Overall happy with Samsung tablets. Only detractor is that the camera is on the side. Thus startup configuration is landscape mode by default.

Loved tablet but i didn't like the color i ordered was almost the same as my a7 tablet but worked great.
