The tablet probably does a lot more than I need it to do but I use it primarily for my audible books and it connects seamlessly to the wireless earphones that I also got with the tablet. The memory is sufficient and then some and the sound quality is excellent and I'm very happy with my purchase. My old tablet was several years old and only 32 storage. I definitely outgrew it.

This it a great tablet. Great for watching movies.

We got this for our 10 year old son. I have no complaints, it has a good amount of space. The only thing I'm not happy with is there's no place to put a sim card so he can use the internet anywhere. He's been using his old LG tablet still because of this. I don't understand why it wouldn't have that capability.

Very nice sized tablet. Slow to start. There is a procedure to remove the cache (which apparently is the problem) but i pre not to do something so drastic on a brand new device. The price (on sale) was a determining factor. I was suprised how heavy it is

Great tablet for media and surfing but not the "workhorse" the S-series are. Very good price point for a tablet that will provide hours of entertainment for kids/grandkids without the "kiddie" appearance of other manufacturers' products and still offers a great medium for traveling adults. Screen clarity and brightness are very good, speakers are plenty and a 3.5mm headphone jack is also available. Wi-Fi connects easily and so far has met any and all needs. MicroSD adds an added layer of memory for some but personally I would not recommend any internal memory less than 64GB due to system needs. Suffice it to say that Samsung offers a great product with the A8 at a fraction of the cost of it's main competitor.

This is a basic tablet that performs like its bigger brothers. Perfect for my needs and the graphics are really good. I use it especially when camping and need a bit more screen real estate than my phone provides, which is also Samsung Galaxy.

I purchased the Samsung GALAXY tablet as a Fathers' Day gift for my husband. It is what the doctor ordered. He uses his tablet daily. This tablet is quite easy as well as handy to sit in his chair and look up information and to even watch tv on while he is outside on his deck. The best buy at Best Buy

I never had a desire for a tablet. I purchased it strictly for teaching yoga - MY WORD WHAT A FANTASTIC PURCHASE! I download my sequences as a document. I can open and edit the type, I can freehand write on the document quick notes. It is way better than having a piece of paper. I can save these sequences for years and return back as needed. Ultra bonus; I can see the words on the screen and adjust size as needed depending on where the tablet is while I teach.

this tablet may be at the lower price range for Samsung but It operates very well, I use it for web surfing, kindle reading and E mail. I'm not a modern gamer so I can't speak to how well it works for that purpose. The full 4 gigs of memory make a big difference when I use it to watch tv and you tube.

I bought my Samsung A8 10.5 inch tablet a couple of weeks ago and in general I like it. I sincerely appreciate access to the PlayStore which is not available on my Fire tablet. Really, Jeff?? The tab looks great. Big screen. Intuitive controls. WiFi is not as fast as the router can provide. But. Sometimes, occasionally, not every time it starts the touch screen will not respond to touch??? OK Restart. Fixed. WHAT? I chatted with the Geeks. That is what they suggested. It does work. But. I suspect the big screen is a power hog. For just sitting around reading or playing solitaire I keep it plugged in because it doesnt get misplaced when plugged in. Unless it is powered by a fast charger the battery loses 1-2% an hour just reading. Not planning on movies on an airplane with this one.

This tablet is the perfect size. Visuals are crisp, and the tablet is great for older adult who would like to use it for cognitive exercises, ie word games, Suduko, or just reading the news paper. Great purchase for my Parent.

Not the fastest, but I didn't want to pay for high end. Given the price point this is a good value. I've had no issues and use daily. Display is good, battery life is good - basically it performs exactly as one would expect. Start up is a little laborious - that's the only drawback I've found is that a reboot can take some time.

Tablet is great for children, screen protector and case added and we have had no issues over a year later.

I got this tablet for my mother. She loves using it and we are still finding out new things she can do with it. Its easy for her to use.

It's a good tablet at a great price. I purchased 2 of them as Christmas gifts for my kids aged 10 and 8 and they love it. In fact it was such a good tablet that I purchased 1 for myself right after Christmas.

For the price works well, but its battery dies pretty quickly compared to older models.

I really impressed with this 10.5 Tablet. It has great storage and great cameras for working remotely. I also like the feature of seeing split screens to view various documents and websites.

Purchased for my dad for christmas. He is not tech saavy but this tablet is a larger version of his cellphone basically so I assumed it would be a safe bet. Super easy to set up and functions for just what my dad needed. Not overly fancy but serves its purpose with good quality. Very happy overall
