So I purchased this to replace my old TAB-3 (which I loved) So far I really like this new one. Now I prefer Samsung, just a preference. But all my TV's, phones, sound bars etc are Samsung. It just makes my life easier when I need to move items from one to another or push a display from a hand held device to a large screen. Several things about the A8, I have many legacy peripherals that I use for work when I was using my TAB-3. These devices had to be able to interface with my replacement. I am happy to report that the A-8 met my expectations perfectly. This saved me several $1000's in replacement items that I use regularly.

I love my new Samsung tablet. Since 2013, I've owned several Samsung tablets that I purchased at Best Buy. It was easy to setup my AOL & GMAIL accounts on this tablet.

Great quality, awesome resolution and the battery is better than I expected. This made an awesome birthday gift.

This tablet is excellent, not a flagship in any way but it is a multimedia rockstar. Great sound from the four speakers, bright screen, and good battery life.

Good tablet, I use it for games, internet surfing and streaming services. It works great. Its not the fastest but it is not slow either. The picture quality and sound is great.

Works as expected for an inexpensive tablet. A little slow, not the greatest sound, video is ok. If you need a tablet for simple things, this is the one for you. If you need a rocket ship tablet, spend more money.

I liked the tablet because of its ease of use. It was very easy to setup as everything was system driven and allowed you to configure the specific areas as needed.

Works great. I installed a bible program on it for Sunday School and it works great. I Do recommend getting the 64GB instead of 32GB because the operating system uses some of the storage.

Pros: The screen has great brightness and clarity. Good responsiveness switching between apps. Cons: very long startup and fast battery drain on standby. After a full charge I didn't use it at all for a week and it was completely dead. After charging it back up it took over 3 minutes to boot up. In 2022 that is just way too slow. For someone who uses it and charges it every day maybe that isn't huge but in my use case it's a big negative. Right now I might only use it 1 day per week for a maximum 90 minutes and will have to remember charge it the night before each time. My prior samsung tablet held a charge in standby much better. I used it more often and still only charged it every other week. I guess that is the difference between the flagship line and the budget friendly line.

Great quality and price. Bought this for my older father and he loves the size of it and its capabilities. Heavier than I expected it to be but not as bad as the iPads.

This is the second Samsung TabA8 we have purchased this year. Mine then one for my wife. We are both happy with their performance. Our needs are pet without large cost.

Best value, user friendly and convenient. I am a samsung user and this tablet goes well with the whole ecosystem. I have the galaxy buds , watch and phone. Very happy!!!

I absolutely love my samsung galaxy tablet. This is the second one that i bought, just to update the one that i hot for 8 years e even though still works good

excellent product. Graphics are very good. Easy to use. This was a gift to my husband and he was very pleased.

Up-graded my tablet and this one is great. Nice and fast. Also, bought it during an early Black Friday sale so it was well within my budget.

I like Samsung product before i have mini tablet .this time i take bigger i can use for email. You tube. Facebook. Picture very nice

Nice bright screen. Sometimes the Google Assistant refuses to work since it requires 2gb of available RAM, which can be a struggle for my tablet which came with 4gb.
