We got this tablet for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas. This was after she dedicated her time to absolutely destroying her first 3 tablets, including a "children's" tablet, within the first 3 months of getting them. We were obviously hesitant to get her another one, but that's what she wanted. I'm impressed with the durability (she has dropped it so many times, I've lost count), battery life (long car rides need a long battery life), and the ease of use. I would definitely recommend this tablet if you're looking to get one for a child.

Could not turn down the display light hard on my eyes in the dark

I tried to cheap out and purchased this tablet. It was promptly returned.

Returned it three hours after I purchase it. My son was so frustrated with it.

This tablet got freze alot you cant do to much with it

The resolution and processing wasn't great. Not good.

Picture quality looks like a cheap fifty dollar tablet.

Bought one of these for my son last week. I have other Samsung devices and appliances and must say they're all excellent. Seeing as this is a current model I didn't expect there to be any issues with apps not running on it. Well I was wrong. Why would they still be using Android 4.4.4 on a current model? Long story short, the games my son can't get on his older Kindle will also not work on this because it's not on Android 5.0 or newer. A simple game like Bloons TD 6 cannot be installed on this along with a handful of others he really wanted to play. Nice product otherwise, but that really stinks. I'm going to keep it for myself and get him something else with the latest Android version I can find.

My teenager loved her bday gift, I love all Samsung products and this tablet was great and at an awesome price.

The Samsung galaxy tab a is awesome, I got rid of my iPad air 2 and never been happier.

I would rate this is as an excellent tablet especially for the price and the performance is also really good.

This tablet is neat and it has a good battery life. It is very handy.

Great performance and overall look an feel are top notch

This tablet is a great buy with incredible screen images and functions. However, the small plastic door for the miniSD card will not keep the card in. The miniSD card constantly pops out and interrupts the stored images. I had to tape over the door to keep the card in. I consider this a major flaw in the design.

I bought this tablet for my 3 year old and it's perfect for her. It works like any other tablet and it functions very well. I did read reviews before buying and there are more positive feedback than negative and I'm glad I got it
