Positives - bright screen, even outdoors - very lightweight - apps run smoothly without lag Negatives - poor battery life (at least compared to my iPad Mini 2)

Samsung GalaxyS2 Tab 8": Excellent tablet

Plus, the cost of the iPad was more than I wished to pay for the size and amount of memory. I was hesitant to buy an Android based tablet because I previously purchased a Google Nexus 7 that was bricked by an Android update. I looked at the Samsung Galaxy S2 8" tablet and was impressed. It has great graphics, super fast start up, and was also expandable with a micro sd. This was my choice so I took a chance and I purchased it. I have been very happy with this tablet and 5 months later, after an Android upgrade, it is fast as ever and as nice as my wife's iPad. Still learning how to use it but it is a pleasure to work with.
