There are not a lot of options for tablets in the Android market. Samsung certainly is maintaining their edge and quality. Fast processing and beautiful graphics. With light usage battery lasts nearly a week; media consumption takes a much heavier toll. I did not opt for the keyboard, as I'm not looking to replace my laptop. However, I may consider it in the future as this, IMHO, is better than a Chromebook (which I've also considered).

So far enjoying the tablet. Fast and responsive. Use it as a mini laptop basically. Pen is great just wish the keyboard wasnt so expensive.

I found the ease of use (having Note9) familiar and fluid. I purchased this tablet due to it having the S Pen which I wanted to take up some sketching etc. I found the use of the S Pen great and very responsive. The only Con I have is the price of this tablet, being now a year old (release 8/1/18) where now the Tab S6 has just been released. This Tab S4 is priced the same as the Tab S6 but the S6 has a better processor, a newer OS version out of the box and more memory for the same price. I can't honestly say that the Tab S6 is better though since I have not purchased or tried it but I only can assume its performance would be at least on par if not better than the S4. I'm very surprised to see that there has not been a price drop on the S4 since the S6 release.

i've basically replaced my work laptop for 50% of my day with this device. portrait mode + s pen + onenote , it's my notebook. with keyboard + in dex mode, it's more of a laptop. the one downside is switching in/out of dex mode is slow, and dex only works in landscape orientation. so it's no longer as good for pen-based note taking in dex mode. i end up not using it much in dex. on the PLUS side for dex, alt-tab works well. alt-tab doesn't work well in non-dex mode (better off using the android 'recent apps' button)

Its crazy fast and the pen works great. I like how fast it powers up. The pen works better than any android product i have had in the past

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is just what I was hoping for. Excellent screen, awesome sound, and smooth operation! So far, it's great!

Tablet features great sound with quad speakers, fast performance and a display that is almost the same size as the tablet itself.

best thing is the speed of the tablet and quality of the screen once you turn it on. very responsive. sounds great too.

The best thing about this tablet is the Dolby sound which is perfect for watching movies. Battery life is good for an android. The screen is bright and clear. Touchscreen is responsive. Case for tablet needs improvement.

I got this tablet for work and home and let me tell you that it has exceeded my expectations. It is very fast and holds tons of memory for pics and downloads. I have had all of the Samsung tablets and this one is the best hands down. The screen is excellent and versatility is outstanding. I use it as a mini computer at work and a tablet at home. So far it pairs with every bluetooth device I have given it.

Screen is vibrant and the speed is phenomenal. Very easy to use. Definitely read the manual to enjoy all of the features.

I love this thing a lot more than I thought I would. Fast, powerful, and a beautiful display. The pen is great fun too.

Just what I needed. Larger and more useful than my Kindle. Screen quality is awesome. The pen is a real bonus too!

I absolutely love this tablet! I have used it mainly for Zoom to keep in touch with ones during 2020 and some gaming. It has worked amazingly. And I love the Samsung Dex mode to use it more like a computer desktop. It is really a cool feature and makes the tablet very versatile. It also has more than enough power and space for general use. I would definitely recommend it to someone that is looking for a mid-grade but very powerful tablet.

Great fast tablet, the only reason I deducted half a star is most everything now has a fingerprint scanner. This tablet doesn't and the eye scan is hit or miss. But the rest of the performance is great...

The screen is great and it's very fast. It's a little heavy compared to my galaxy 2 tablet but not too bad. I really like it.

The tablet is small enough to use anywhere yet large enough to be easy to see. The battery lasts forever in standby mode.

I love the size, speed, and all the features on this tablet. Its ability to use desktop is definitely worth the buy.
