Is a good table but I have a iPad and I like more.

Great graphics but disappointed in wireless speed on internet.

Nice, easy for mom to use. She likes to play games on it.

Works great but the material is not the usual Samsung quality.

I have alway liked Samsung. I feel they have great products

The majority of my usage so far has been media consumption and some digital sketching. My review is based on that experience. Screen: Best screen on the market compared to any tablet. Samsung's Oled technology has been the leader for a long time and they continue that lead with this tablet. Only thing that can be improved is the refresh rate which is still at 60hz. But it doesn't bother me and I can't really tell when a scrolling. Speed: Everything is fluid and Samsung's oneUI is finally polished enough and optimized to where everything is smooth and no stutters. I know in the past Samsung devices can slow down over time but with the new devices this has all been fixed. I dont feel even with the 6gb ram model that I'll need more ram. Maybe if you have too many Dex windows open. But, I prefer tablet mode anyway as I have a laptop and dont need that functionality. Build quality: Superb build quality, Simply top notch and crazy thin. I do recommend a screen protector and a case as durability if dropped is questioned since I've never dropped it and don't plan on it. Speakers: 4 of them and Wow, loud, crisp, not tinny and will fill a room easily. I've been turning the volume down most instances. SPen: Being an artist on both digital and traditional and having current competition tablets and pencils/pens I can honestly say that the SPen stacks up well when drawing and sketching in different apps. I love the softer tip on the pen that gives it a little resistance when you draw on the glass instead of the hard plastic tips on previous Spen's and other pens/pencils that are too slick on the glass and can make it harder to be precise IMO. I haven't used the gestures and really don't plan on it as I think at this point it's a gimmick. The SPen is a different shape, more oval than the S4's pen and I like the magnet on the back of the S6 that holds the pen in place. I do recommend a case though that covers it and allows it to stay there because you can knock it off the magnet fairly easily. I've found a few on competitor websites and the official Samsung ones. Battery: I've noticed a lot of drain over night, more so than I'm pleased with. Not sure what is going on but I may have an app that's not playing nice too. Haven't had a big opportunity to look into it yet, I just make sure I plug it in over night which is t the best for overall battery life but a quick fix for now. Overall this is a definite upgrade and a worthy one. I'm really enjoying the size and weight. You should buy one.

Item had issues not turning on and downloading/running applications I returned an upgraded to the 256gb version that has been running flawlessly.

I was expecting something really different than the tab series but for the price I think is not enough.. I like it but again I was waiting something else..

Overall it’s a very nice Samsung galaxy tab but I would say the quality of the picture can be a little bit better but other than that I would say it was well worth the purchase

The tablet is very good but the reason i dont give 5 stars is because I was told I could insert my sim card for data and that was not true

Great tab. Got this on sale, along with a 50 dollar rebate from Best Buy. This tab replaced a tab S2 8" Nook. The 8" was perfect for reading books, was very light, and easy to hold, but not so great for watching videos etc. The S6 is great for watching videos, which is its primary function. It's definitely heavier than the s2 and way more powerful. I haven't upgraded to the S7 or S8 because they are over kill for my use as is the S6. Also, the S6 is still getting android updates and security patches, which makes it a keeper. I can watch videos for two to three hours per day and the battery lasts for six or seven days. Very happy with this Tab.

… no flash in the camera (not that I plan on snapping pictures galore with this), no headphone jack (not that I use headphones with jacks anymore; I do Bluetooth), no NFC. While I am not bothered by those things, I feel like it is worth knocking off a star. Now here this, though: this is a great tablet! Looks/the physical: this thing looks good and expensive. The back is a solid metal (not a hard plastic). It's thin. I don't find it to be too heavy for a tablet. Nice size. It's not slippery in my hands. Start up/Set up: Set up is what it is (you set up phones, tablets, computers, etc.... you know the drill). It's quick and easy. I am an android user and Samsung galaxy user (to be specific) so I already know how to use this... and how to go into the settings and adjust things. It has a sharp and bright video display. The sound is loud and crisp. There is an equalizer in the settings if you choose to use it. There are 4 speakers (two on top, two on bottom) to output sound. This tablet is very responsive and quick. Scrolling is smooth and seems fluid. The s-pen is cool. You can attach it to the back of the tablet and that charges it (make sure it is in the right direction). You can do many things with the s-pen, including controlling some functions. In the camera, you can make it snap pics, zoom, flip the camera. When watching videos, you can make it play, stop and other. It's cool. I also tested the s-pen in notes, just to see how it feels. It feels good like any other skinny writing utensil. I tested it with a downloaded app called Paintastic to test drawing. The s-pen got the job done and was on point. One thing to note is that if you are not careful, you may push the button on the pen while using the pen, which will make a side menu pop out; the side menu offers other s-pen options. I saved this for next to last: the charging is suuuuuuper slow. I thought something was wrong with it. But I guess that just is what it is. But I find it odd though. Last: I fully recommend this tablet. It's great, nice and on point. Peace.

I couldnt get into this tablet. I just dont like how disjointed the android system is. Why is there 2 App shops on one tablet?

It's fine, at least it's not an apple product. I don't sit around playing games all day now - which I suppose is a good thing.
