There are a few new features (to be expected after 7 years) and the dimensions are a bit more phone like (more narrow by just a tiny bit), but most importantly everything my s4 could do this one can do as well or better.

Its display is mediocre, however it is great for taking handwritten notes, which was the purpose of the purchase. Make sure to buy a screen protector as well as a case!
