Purchased this tablet to replace and aging iPad and we like it. The stylus pen is a great feature that allows you to use it for many things from hand writing to drawing to using it as a pseudo mouse so your fingerprints don't smudge the screen. The screen resolution is pretty sharp and videos and games look really good, even with faster motion. The speakers are OK for a tablet and it could use more bass and depth, but I guess you can pair it with an external speaker. The weight of the tablet feels good and it's not too heavy that you can't use it for long periods of time. We purchased the Samsung case for it as well and it holds the stylus pen nicely so it doesn't get lost. Without a case, the stylus pen simply hangs on the side with the magnets and it's easy to bump it off. The WiFi 6 is pretty fast and it pairs with our home's WiFi 6 access points and delivers some pretty fast speeds. We can easily get over 330Mbps up and down with our ISP so watching streamed movies is very stable on the device. The battery life is decent and it can last a few days the way we use it. But we do notice that it seems to drain a bit faster than our previous old iPad. Overall, we like this tablet and we have other Android devices so the OS was very familiar in how to move around and get things done.

This is the perfect size for a tablet. It also has a great processor. I can do so many wonderful things on it. PDFs, note taking, playing games out in the sun. Enjoying life away from people. It is what it is.

When I purchased my Samsung Galaxy tab S8 Best Buy did not have it in stock. But he arranged to have it shipped to my house about two days later. I was able to transfer everything off of my old tablet onto my new one with very little effort. The one problem that came up was I could not get Sim card door open using the supplied pin. I took the tablet back to Best Buy and their tax were able to get the door open for me it just needed a little bit more force with a stronger pin. I've had the tablet for well over a month and it is working great very happy with the purchase. Note: the supplied can will get knocked off very easily and I was able to find a case that had an elastic strap that holds the pen in place otherwise you spend a lot of time looking for the pen when it gets knocked off unfortunately Best Buy does not sell that case.

Purchased this tablet as an upgrade and wasn't disappointed. It's super fast. Battery lasts long. The screen is fantastic...colors really pop. I'm very impressed and happy with my Galaxy s8.

My previous tablet was the Galaxy Tab S5e, also from Best Buy and I liked it but it was slow at times and it seemed underpowered or short on the amount of ram that it needed to show videos or play simple games. In comparison, the Tab S8 seems much quicker, snappy, and responsive. I also like that Samsung has slightly less bloatware than before. The screen seems very nice, plenty of color and quite clear. I'm not in total agreement about the pen placement for charging and storage as it is very close to the rear cameras and it is easy to accidentally smudge a camera lense when reaching for the pen.

Overall, the quality is amazing. I mean its basically a phone but in a tablet size. For the price, you would expect it to be more of like a laptop but its good at what it does. Basically just to browse the internet, check emails, and any other apps that you would have on your phone but in a bigger size. I would recommend to someone looking for a solid laptop, but not expecting to use it as a computer replacement.

The tablet is amazing but it has an lcd display and missing cellular capabilities which would have made this one of if not the best tablets out there, especially at this price point, but right now it is amazing for most use cases like reading, drawing, writing, searching the web, etc..., light weight things, not enough to completely replace a computer, but still doing most things a computer can.

Upgraded from the Tab S6 to the Tab S8. It's a noticeable difference in the quality of the video / screen and response time. It was a needed upgrade due to the fact the S6 is losing support.

I bought this Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 to replace my older Galaxy Tab 5se. The new S8 has twice the RAM (8GB v 4GB), twice the storage (128GB v 64GB) and a noticeably faster processor. It’s not much larger than the Tab 5se and incredibly is slightly lighter and thinner. The display is even sharper and clearer than the Tab 5se too. It’s a beautiful tablet that performs great and I am very happy with my upgrade. Best Buy took a trade-in of my old tablet too which is much appreciated. They weren’t overly generous on the trade-in credit, but it was nice to get and allowed me to recycle it responsibly rather than keep it unused in my closet. I am very happy with my new Galaxy Tab 8S and recommend it highly.

Great tablet coming from an Apple guy. This tablet has been a dream to use and been loving ever since I got it. Fast and built like a tank, very impressive. Will get years of use from this one. MUST BUY.

I first purchased an open box, big mistake it kept shutting down. took it in after being told by customer service well you need an appointment. Enough of that crap I just bought an open box item discribed as excellent condition (that was a lie). Well i walked 20 feet from the Geeks to return desk returned it and purchased a new one. I must say it works great.

Our Galaxy Tab 12.2 tablets were almost 7 years old and needed to be replaced. This is a little smaller, but they are so much faster and the display is brilliant. The OS is the same as what we have on the Galaxy S21 Ultra phones, so the user experience is the same. The pen even works on the phone! About the pen, though. It is convenient that there are magnets on the long sides as well as the back, but this makes keeping the pen always adhered to the tablet problematic. I am not removing a star for that. So far, I have not been able to find a suitable protector for it. Since it was just released, I expect there will be a better selection in the near future.

Easy to use the size is perfect for me it doesn't take up a lot of space. It runs great. I can't give my opinion on the battery life haven't had it long enough

So far so good with this product. Updated to the S8 from an old S2. Very happy with the ease to transfer everything from S2 to S8. Battery life is excellent.

Good performance. Does everything I need without the apple tax. People keep telling me I need a iPad but they can't tell me what it can do that I can't do on this. My daughter loves drawing on it.

Great tablet that integrates with other galaxy ones. I have a S21 ultra and I can send files and pictures between the two and sign documents using the pen on the tablet.

Great buy! Excellent product. Benn using a ipad for couple years and this beats apple products. Essentially since I have a galaxy phone. Now i can sync across both.
