its a great tablet but wish it came with some actual written directions!

Samsung – Galaxy Tab S8 – 11” 128GB – Wi-Fi – with S-Pen - Silver The Galaxy Tab S8 runs the latest Android operating system. It pairs with your Samsung phone to both send and receive phone calls and text messages. I’ve had an issue with the phone part of this. Once in a while the tablet will start ringing a minute after I’ve already answered the call on my phone. When left alone it will continue to ring as long as you let it. The tablet has also started ringing after I ended the call on my phone. I’m sure this is a glitch in the OS because my Galaxy watch has the same functions and has never done this. I’m sure Samsung knows about this and will release a fix once they find what’s causing it. It comes with a charging cable, but no power adapter. This is a little bit of an issue because it really wants a better power adapter than you might have around the house. I ordered the correct Samsung charger to use, and it made a difference in charge time. Normal charge time was just over 2 hours with an extra adapter. With the correct one from Samsung that time is cut by more than half. Not saying you couldn’t charge it slow, that’s probably good for the battery, but when you want to use it, you need it to charge quickly. As for battery life, it’s not as good as I had hoped. Using it for 45 minutes in the morning, doing email, web surfing, and simple tasks, the battery has dropped to 45% in a week. So that puts the useful battery like at about 6 or 7 hours. I guess this isn’t bad, they say in the specs that I saw a battery life of 7.5 hours. My small issue with that is my other tablet, being used exactly the same way, goes almost 3 weeks before needing to be charged. The tablet is very responsive, and has a crisp clear screen, it is not a top of the line screen but it is bright, clear, and looks great. They removed the removable Micro SD slot and put in a SIM style Micro SD holder. This makes changing the expandable storage a problem for those who want to just put in a card and see the pictures or what ever is on it. You’ll need to use the pin tool included to eject the Micro SD card holder to change cards. It’s still better than the other guy, but not as good as it was. It has 4 speakers that sound good. Not to tinny but lacking any real bass. The S-Pen attaches magnetically to the back of the tablet and charges from the tablet itself. When using the S-Pen It does a good job of ignoring your hand on the screen while you draw. Like most pens, I’ve found they are not that much use to me. It’s very nice to be included, but I wouldn’t see it as a selling point without some good apps dedicated to using it. The pen feels ok in your hand, but the flat side used for charging seems in the wrong place for the button. This of course is just my point of view and in no way detracts from the pen itself. There is no headphone jack, but you can purchase an adapter, or just purchase USB-C headphones or headset. There is camera support for unlocking as well as a fingerprint reader. I’ve found the fingerprint is the fastest way to unlock it, as any other way you have to go through 2 steps to get it open. When using the fingerprint reader, it simply opens as soon as touch it. Wi-Fi is solid and as fast as any other device I’ve used. Bluetooth is also useful for attaching headphones or a headset. There are a plethora of devices that will work with Android over Bluetooth. The only options for external hard connections are USB-C and a dedicated magnetic keyboard port. Not having a keyboard I’m unsure if the keyboard has any extra ports. My bottom line is this is a really good tablet but it’s size (larger than other small tablets) and weight (heaver than others in it’s size range) make it something you will need to hold in your hands before you purchase this one. There are other TAB S8’s that are even larger with more performance. You’ll want to decide how you’ll be using it. This one might be spot on, or you might want a larger…faster one.

It's too large to be held comfortably. My old tablet was an 8" Samsung Galaxy, but they don't make one that size with sufficient storage capacity. At least that's what the salesman told me. I'm a senior citizen, and this is not easy to operate.

Stopped working after 3 months, won't charge, won't turn on. Support is unhelpful, obviously.

So slow and doesn’t even work but when I checked, it said return period ended.

Had trouble with it the screen flipping constantly. Screen started vibrating. Took it back to the store three times. Got refunded.

Trash! Better off getting an iPad or a google chrome

Didn’t feel to welcome here me and my girlfriend got the same vibe for the employees here. The cashier was really nice the but the employee who was sent to “help me” didn’t want to he had this surprised Look on his face when I said I wanted to buy a ssd that was locked up he took so long to get the key a different employee came to asked if I needed help again which I finally got when I asked a second time

Great tablet only one thing I hate is that with paying so much tablet does not come with a charger.

I would return, but my few days have already passed. I only dislike as the battery does NOT hold a charge. I started with 99% at 9:48am and by 6pm it was at 4%. That was day 2 after I had done a full charge.. Other than the battery, I really do like it. I'm trying to get used to using a pen to do some projects.

I like this Samsung tablet because it was a great price for all it does.

Upgraded from a Tab A7. Very nice display. Very quick CPU.

I've owned an ipad pro for the last 4 years. Not a bad device but I find ipad os to be a bit restricting and limiting. So I just got the tab s8 and here's what I love about it and why it's my favorite device. Sometimes I like to relax on the couch and use my tablet to look up scores, read the news, shop a little, read reviews, and play some games. When I have a meeting that requires bringing a device, I put my tab s8 into my Chesona keyboard case which has a trackpad. Just like that I have an amazing laptop that works great. Later when I get to my desk which has a 25 inch monitor, I connect it to the monitor via an hdmi cable and it automatically transforms into Dex mode. Now I have an amazing desktop computer experience. Not only does it work in tablet, laptop, and desktop modes, it does it super well. And it comes with the spen which works great. Not too sensitive but not overly sensitive either. I couldn't imagine spending another $130 on the pen. The tab s8 is super bright and colorful, lightweight, ultra fast, and reasonably priced. One of the best technology experiences I've ever had.

Not what i expected. Really just a larger version of the phone

Best Buy is not helpful and they just tell you to YouTube things are Google things so I wouldn't be able to tell you how well this works because I am still stuck until after the holidays thanks

Bought this for my 81 year old dad who has a Samsung phone. Wanted him to be able to use his apps and surf the web on a larger screen. I'm an iPhone user but it was pretty easy for me to figure out how to transfer his info from phone to tablet. He really enjoys using it. I don't think he uses the s-pen much but I like it--it has a nicer feeling than my Apple Pencil.

I am enjoying my new Samsung tablet. It works well. It was easy to set up. It has a long battery charge.

Easy to use, reliable, and long battery life. Perfect for college.
