Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Galaxy Tab S8's large screen size, the included S-Pen, and its long battery life. Many also appreciate its ease of use and performance. While some find the price high and the lack of a headphone jack inconvenient, the positive feedback on other features outweighs these concerns. The expandable storage is also a plus for many users.

    Great processor, bad screen smearing.

Pros: Powerful, snappy when not limited by ram. Good balance between screen size and portability. Long battery life and good at playing graphically demanding games. Cons: Ok, price, even on sale was abit much for what you're getting. You're better off buying a used highend 15 inch laptop from two years ago for $600. Next issue is the screen. While it touts something similar to 1440P, the quality of if left much to be desired. Actually, the screen was the reason I took it back. It has slow response, despite being 120 hz. The black levels on characters, like say their hair or if they have on black gloves smears. Black text when scrolling fast smears, it's distracting saying black trails on my screen. Last issue is the memory size.8 GBs of ram seems like a lot, but the OS and bloatware only leaves you around 3.6 GBs. Yeah, more than half the ram is gone before you open up your first app. This tablet was built as this multitasking monster, but slows down with 7 google tabs open, and Youtube because the ram is maxed. I was disappointed, turn on developer options and limited to just 3 apps open which helped out. However, the black trails or smearing was something I could not tolerate so I took it back. I was not going to add another $150 to get the 12.4 inch which is too big, but has OLED and 4 additional GBs of ram. Just priced out of consideration. Conclusion: I was really looking forward to this model. I didn't like the price but figured eventually it could become a school tablet for my six year old. The smearing from the TFT Matrix screen is the worst part. It looks like 2005 LCD tech. Just bad, too bad to keep for the price. Hopefully Samsung next Tablet to can put AMOLED across the board not use this garbage TFT Matrix LCD screen.

I was told this tablet has an amazing battery life. No it does not. Even if I do some gaming on this thing, I have to charge it at the end of the day. On an iPad it would last me the next day. The S-pen is flimsy and even if I put it on a case it still was very defective.

Didn’t feel to welcome here me and my girlfriend got the same vibe for the employees here. The cashier was really nice the but the employee who was sent to “help me” didn’t want to he had this surprised Look on his face when I said I wanted to buy a ssd that was locked up he took so long to get the key a different employee came to asked if I needed help again which I finally got when I asked a second time

I would return, but my few days have already passed. I only dislike as the battery does NOT hold a charge. I started with 99% at 9:48am and by 6pm it was at 4%. That was day 2 after I had done a full charge.. Other than the battery, I really do like it. I'm trying to get used to using a pen to do some projects.
