My Last Samsung Purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this product for its large screen size to use with graphs that I use for reference. Samsung has eliminated the 30 minute option for leaving the display on. This means that I am constantly having to log in again and again and again because I get involved in my work and forget to keep the screen active before it goes out. This basically eliminates using the device this way. Samsung is continually reducing the practical usability of their products in order to address security, but it's a massive overreach. I'm also finding it to be quite slow to respond compared to all my other devices, including other Samsung devices. Also, I'm already reading that Samsung is already dishonoring warranty requests. This is pretty scary when you spend this much for a product. Samsung has been on a more-for-less trajectory for several years now: more money, less for it. No chargers, cords, etc. I have bought many Samsung products because I like Android and I love their screens, but it's just not worth it any more. I wish I hadn't traded in my Tab S7, but I can't get it back, so I'm stuck with this thing that doesn't serve me well. The company continues to self-destruct and I won't support them anymore. This was my last ever Samsung purchase.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Please know that we value your feedback, and we will continue working on improving the quality of the products we offer. Please set the screen time to "always on" to prevent it from locking out.
Samsung wants to minimize the impact our products have on the environment. To promote better recycling habits, we are transitioning to removing earphones and charger plugs. Samsung believes removing earphones and charger plugs from our in-box device packaging can help address the growing e-waste problem and unnecessary duplication of these items. ^Charles
