I was looking for the Gear Classic and there was nothing in stock. I bought a refurbished Gear classic (Yes- I really wanted to wear it!) but wasn't satisfied with that. So I went back to the store and decided to try the Samsung - Galaxy Watch Active Smartwatch 40mm Aluminum - Black. Good news - it is cheaper than the Gear Classic; has almost all the same functions and works great. I recommend it

I got this to replace my Gear S2. Familiar layout, so it was nice not to have to relearn a new toy. Screen is sharp and it is very responsive to touch. Battery life seems to be between 1 and 2 days depending on usage. The 40mm version is a bit small for my wrist. It would probably be better for my wife or one of my teenagers. Works seamlessly with my samsung phone.

This is a great watch for someone with small wrists. Easy to use and love all features.

This is my first smart or fitness watch, but I couldn't be more pleased with it. I wanted something that would help me track my steps and light fitness activities. What I got was so much more! I love changing the watch face to match my outfits, I love how I can quickly glance at and reply to texts when I am busy. The band is comfortable and feels good on my wrist.

I had never purchased a smart watch (or any nice watches) because the faces always looked so big and bulky on my small wrists or the bands were too large. This watch fits very nicely and has held up fairly well, minus a few scratches on the glass face that I received while doing yard work. I love the watch. I do wish it had a few more applications for it, but the watch itself is great!
