I have the Gear S2 and S3. I loved the features and ease of use but the face was a bit but for my small wrist. This Galaxy Active had the same features as the previous except making calls. I was unhappy that it only has a vibrate function no ring which makes it hard to find your watch sometimes.

Some how, this watch performance is way better. Battery last long time. All apps is working fine. Like to read summary of Samsung health each day.

This watch was a gift & I just love that it works well on my wrist. It has good battery life. I am still learning more about the product so this is not my full assessment of all functionalities. But for most part, it has been behaving well.

It tracks walking/running perfectly, as well as basic monitors like heart rate / pulse. I like the majority of the built in apps and connectivity (bluetooth/wifi) is very good. HOWEVER... If you want this to track your swimming (laps)-- LOOK ELSEWHERE! This thing is terrible at tracking laps in the pool. I've observed superior tracking ability by almost all its competitors including fitbit and apple. You get short laps, missed laps, extra laps (it's kinda all over the place and is in no way competitive in the market for this). Also, it's often not good at tracking weight exercises (mainly lifts and presses-- seems fine with curls) and it sometimes misses counting lunges. In general, it's a really nice smart watch that's just barely adequate as a fitness tracker, which is a little ironic, considering it's called "Active."
