I've had this watch exactly one year and the sensor cover on the back has come off while working out and sweat must have gotten inside and now the watch is defective. The watch now displays everything in a weird pink color and the screen constantly glitches. Not happy at all with this purchase!!!

Sent to Samsung for repair or replacement. Charged for a week never more than 10%

I ended up returning watch due to it inaccurately counting calories and myself realizing I dont like wearing a watch.

I already have a 46mm Galaxy Watch. My wife had an aging S2 and it was upgrade time. The active has a small size which for her is perfect. She says the band is super comfortable and the screen has excellent colors and everything is fast and smooth. She is very happy with it. As for functionality you lose a couple and gain a couple things but the Tizen OS is still familiar and the learning curve is simple. Samsung better bring one ui to their other wearables. It's a nice fresh coat of paint. Well done Samsung. Not for me but wife says 2 thumbs up

I bought this watch for my wife and it worked perfectly well for almost a year. Again, same old Samsung screen black-out issue. The screen is completely blacked out and there is no help even after doing a hard reset. This is my 2nd Samsung watch and had the same issue with my 1st one (S3). Sad, it is a complete waste of money.

Upon purchase the watch was great. It looks sleek, has a lot of features i enjoy. The watch stopped receiving charge and i haven't been able to use it since. I cannot schedule a geek squad appointment at any nearby location despite purchasing a 2 year protection plan, customer service phone options unavailable and chat services never responded either.

AWFUL! Had it 13 months. It over heats, battery will not charge!

The battery had to be charged everyday. The functions were just OK.

I can't believe Samsung dumped this product on the public. This watch spends more time on the charger than on my wrist. The interface is baffling. The band broke in the first week. Nothing about this is worth it. The product team should be embarrassed. I'm going back to FitBit, or maybe I don't need a "smart" watch after all.

This is my first smart watch from Samsung, so I honestly can't compare it to the previous Galaxy watches, but I can say I am super happy with the watch so far. The design is clean and eye catching, and the UI functions smooth and snappy despite the loss of the rotating bezel. Battery life seems to be pretty solid and I was able to make it nearly two days on a single full charge. Feature wise it's definitely a good fit for anyone looking for fitness or sleep tracking while not dealing with the feeling of a heavy watch upon your wrist all day/night. The noticeable feeling of wearing this watch fades away pretty quickly, and I have not had it interfere with any daily activities as some larger watches can. The two included bands offer a solid range for wrist sizes, and of course additional sizes/colors/textures are available for purchase as well. It is important to note that there is no speaker built into this watch, so you cannot use it for music or calls directly, but it does work fine as a remote for spotify etc if you have a different audio source. As I would not really want to listen to music from a watch, or broadcast my private phone calls anyway, the lack of a speaker doesn't bother me personally. There is not currently support for third party apps, however you can enable notifications from pretty much every app on your phone, and third party messaging apps (LINE, Messenger, etc) do allow you to respond directly from the watch. Pros: 1) Super light weight. I can easily wear it in bed without any discomfort 2) Beautiful screen 3) Simple and elegant style 4) Lots of features 5) Fitness features are pretty accurate Cons: 1) Screen could be a little big bigger, bezel occupies too much space on the screen. Sometime it makes it difficult to interact 2) No out of the box support for Google maps 3) Battery - It lasts around 24 hours on normal use. Wonder what will happen when it gets older. Two hours for full charge with magnetic charger 4) Lack of native watch apps like water reminder, weather info (the existing one is not really native, it relies on phone) All in all, I highly recommend this watch for anyone looking to pick up a solid smart watch for a reasonable price that is still packed with tons of features you would expect from a more expensive option. It is comfortable, stylish, and functional.

Battery didn't last a year, and store won't take it back.

Needed a bigger size , was not aware only a 2 week return or exchange policy. Stuck with it.

Low battery life had to charge every day wate of time

I was missing the charger for the watch it took me hours to charger it with my phone

After the non returnable date passed the watch just started doing stuff on it's own. Noticed it will vibrate then when I look at it nothing comes on. Then it just started vibrating and didn't stop and it was like a ghost was using it. I didnt even touch it and the screen was steady moving by itself. Wouldn't recommend $189 wasted

It is not trackable watch since I give a gift for my wife. She use the watch at least one week then, she lost a watch somewhere. Then we try to contact best buy and samsung also I am trying to use my phone app it called wear phone app that help you to active a watch. But no way to find so if give me any idea that will help.

For nearly the same price of a Charge 3, this Samsung Active is the much better choice. I have an S3 Frontier, and just picked up the Active on release day. It is VERY comfortable, and tends to disappear on the wrist. Some web sites complain that the rotating bezel is not included, but that exclusion is barely missed by me ad I appreciate the smoother form factor. In fact, I used to try to sleep with the Charge 3 on my wrist, but it just has too many sharp edges. This watch is much easier to keep on your wrist at night. As for battery life, I'm getting about a full day and a half. The screen is responsive, easy to touch, and crisp. Heart rate has been within a beat or two of other devices and workout machines. This is a great product by Samsung. Its price is very attractive, functionality superb, comfort great, and battery life excellent. Great choice in exercise watch. IMHO, beats the Charge 3 and Versa.

Had to return back to the store because it was very small for a male watch

The main reason I got this watch was so I could get my messages while at work when my phone is not with me. I finally got it to connect for a couple weeks and it worked great. Now it will not connect at work. And at home it doesn't connect automatically, because it still says its trying to connect to my work wifi.
