I purchased this product as a gift for my daughter. She loves it. It's a great looking watch and everything it does is very useful.

After Pebble, I wore a Gear S2 until the battery got so bad it wouldn't last one day. Then switched to a Fit2 Pro. Much better battery, but felt more like a fitness tracker than a smart watch. Eventually, battery got to about 1.5 days. Was never really a fan of the look. When Galaxy Active launched, I wanted to give it a try. Battery lasts 3 days but a one hour run or workout with music will drain it by about 40%. Most comfortable smart watch I have ever worn. Barely there. Very light and low profile. Not as "manly" as the larger S2, S3, or Galaxy. Happy to have Samsung pay back. And looks more like a watch.

I really like this watch. Its small and light weight compared to my old watch. My only complaint is the battery doesn't last as long as it says it should.

The smart watch part of the watch is great. The tracking could be better. Previously, I had the Garmin vivioactive hr so I have very high standards for me with the huge amount of data on watch, app and website. I miss that. The Galaxy Active still tracks a lot and is really good in general the app is ok and darn it no website to get real in depth like Garmin. I HATE THE BATTERY LIFE. I would not have bought the watch if I knew I would have to charge it so much. I am an active person, no time to charge watch once if not twice a day. I almost want to put No for reccomend because the battery. But that may not matter to others.

It great watch and for great deal I pay $79.99 for open boxes but work great (I know that lots of great ) but it great with my iPhone XR!!

I've had this for near a month. No issues. Runs nicely. Helps me keep track of my fitness and keeps me motivated. Easy to use.

I don't have thick wrists so the size of this watch looks better on my wrist. The lack of a turning bezel does not bother me and I had the Gear S3 before this purchase.

This watch is great for keeping me active. It's also a great utility to keep me informed while I am doing things where I can't hold me phone.

when i got this for a Christmas present, it was just beautiful. very nice rose gold color. and overall until now the color didn't fade. and its still very useful. there's a lot of application that its amazing like the heart rate reader, texting, change of the face watch. the only 2 downside are the wristband and the ability on taking phone call right from the watch. for the wristband, because its rubber it's just dirty very easily and for phone call even though you can pick it up from the watch, you still need your phone to be able to talk.

Bought myself a birthday present! I was skeptical of the size of the watch face fitting on my small wrist without it looking lunky. After a day of wearing it, I hardly felt it was even there. I workout at 2 gyms so seeing my calories burned count is important and my daily steps as well. It syncs with MapMyRide app!!! Did not expect to see my bicycle ride got recorded on the Samsung Health app. I love the Samsung Health app, so easy to understand and accurate with the UA MapMyRide app. Very happy with my purchase from Best Buy in Riverdale, UT.

My girlfriend had been wanting a watch to help track fitness so I ended up getting her the active. She absolutely loves it and now likes to have step count competition each day! I have had the S3 Frontier for years with no issue, hopefully she will say the same! For the price you can't go wrong! I did have to change some settings to extend her battery life however, doesn't compare to the Frontier in that realm. All in all, buy it!

Love this watch very easy to use also keeps a charge you can change the faces on the watch it tells you when to walk (Exercise)

So, right off the, mine died about 3-4 months ago. I purchased an used one back in March, 2019. It worked well until it completely died. Although the screen size was a bit too tiny for me. I still liked how compact and light it was. It felt like i wasn't wearing anything on my wrist compared to the other 2 smart watches I had at that time. So, I ended up wearing this one only because it's just so comfortable and practical comparatively. I ended up buying the second generation since it died but otherwise I would have been wearing it today.

I've had 2 other smartwatches but this one is the most comfortable to wear all day. I have the brightness set at half and it's still very clear to see even outside in the the sun and the battery will last almost 3 days without charging while monitoring my sleep. With brightness all the way up, it will last me about 16hrs with the always on display. Didn't care for the speaker and mic on the other Samsung watches but I do miss the rotating bezel. Other than that, this is a fantastic device for people who are looking for a smartwatch without all the added wait and unnecessary features.

My wife likes her watch, it works well with her Note 8. It is lightweight and smaller, much better for female wrists. The previous models were too big for her.

Samsung Active is a fitness tracker and mini-office all in a classic looking watch! As a first time smart watch user, I found set up easy. With a look more like a watch, I am comfortable wearing it when I dress up or when I'm more casual. I love being able to see notifications for text messages and social media at a glance so I know if an immediate response is necessary. My job requires lots of desk time, and I appreciate the reminders to get up and move as well as the encouragement when I do walk. Knowing sleep patterns is helpful too. Love it!

I was interested in the Galaxy watch active as an upgrade from my fitbit - I wanted more smartwatch features in addition to the activity and sleep tracking. In terms of fitness tracking, Galaxy watch active seems to slightly undercount steps and floors compared to fitbit (perhaps fitbit overcounts?) and HR is comparable. Sleep tracking gives slightly different results, not sure how to interpret that. Other features are similar. Battery life: Fitbit is the clear winner here. It is annoying to have to charge my watch every single day, but that seems to be the norm for smartwatches.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active is a fantastic smart watch. It's health and exercise features are helpful and intuitive with great reminders to stay active. The watch paired easily with my Galaxy Note8 and doesn't eat up either the phone's or its own battery. With a battery life of over two days of use (when turned off at night), this watch is reliably respondent and perfectly long-lasting. Its design is gorgeously simple and minimalistic with colour options that are bold but also neutral enough to go with any ensemble.

Battery life leaves a lot to be desired. After my 4th Fitbit Versa quit on me I decided to try a smart watch, if I leave it on battery save mode it lasts longer, if not it lasts maybe two days. I try to remember to put it on goodnight mode at night so it doesn't light up when I roll over. This watch is great I am clumsy and accidently hit my arm on things and the screen is a bit scratched up but it so far has not busted.
