I have an older model Samsung GearFit Pro that I wanted to upgrade. This is NOT an upgrade. I put it on sleep mode for night, and between 10:30pm and 6:00am it uses 25% of the battery. By 5pm it is down to under 20% left. This watch needs to be charged twice a day to even be able to use it. I have very few apps on it, and only email, phone calls & texts set up for auto notification. The sleep tracker also does not work - I'm returning this and will stick to my older style watch.

After hours of researching, I purchased this watch yesterday. I was so happy with my new watch. I kept telling my husband that, "I love my new watch!" Unfortunately today, when I ran on my treadmill, the watch did not track my miles. I thought it might be a GPS problem. I got off the treadmill and ran outside. Still the watch did not track my miles. I assumed that I didn't set the watch up correctly. However, I called tech support and they told me that they are aware of the problem. Samsung is currently working on software to fix the problem. No answer on how long that will take. This watch offers so many features, and I am so happy with it, however, I will have to return it tomorrow. I really want to know the miles I've walked/run. If miles aren't important to you, I recommend this watch. If they are, hold out until problem is solved.

Watch functioned well enough to track workouts and forward texts from my phone. Heart rate was often inaccurate or dropped off during workouts. Watch is described as water resistant, but mine broke just barely a year after I bought it when I went in a pool standing in about a 3 feet deep water. Samsung said water damage is not covered and wanted nearly full price paid for the watch to repair. No thanks

I have been very pleased with this watch. I love the options available to me and it is very user friendly. My favorite features are the programmable alarms, the work out logs and the kudos it gives me for reaching my step goal each day!!!

Bought this watch to be an upgrade from my microsoft band. Unfortunately the battery only lasts half a day. Turned off wifi,nfc, and lowerd thr back light and it still went through the battery pretty fast. I am going on a trip and cannot charge the watch in the middle of the day. It also takes a long time to charge with the provided charger. My Garmin vivoactive 3 charges in 30 minutes to the full capacity and that takes the samsung watch nearly 2 hours. Overall it is not a very practical gadget.

Returned as it didn’t work as well with an apple phone as we liked. I liked the looks of the watch way better than the Apple Watch though

Is not accurate at step counting. I didnt buy this pricey watch just so the screen can look pretty. I want to use for fitness but I can walk all over my house and it does not move the steps. I have a newborn so walking back and fourth it should change. It did not. Some users say to move your arm while you walk or dont hold anything with the hand your watch is on. For something this costly you shouldnt have to change your "walk" or not use a hand in order for it to work. I also dont like that it only holds charge for about a day and a half. My fitbit charge 2 would hold for at least 4 or 5 days without needing a charge. Also, because it doesnt hold a charge I have to charge while I sleep therefore it thinks I slept from the time I put watch on charger till when I put watch back on. Again, not reliable. Overall disappointed that it costs $200 and doesnt hold up against competitors. Sadly, I will be returning watch today.

I received this as a Christmas gift from my wife. I'll be returning it and purchasing a versa 2 as a replacement. I've had a FitBit Charge and charge 2 and they've proven to be fairly accurate with sleep, heart rate, and activity tracking. This watch cannot even accurately record my heart rate let alone my fitness routines and daily activity. It's a shame because I prefer the style and smart features this has over the Versa 2 (My wife owns one I coincidentally purchases as a gift as well.) but as an activity tracking it's sorely lacking. If you want an entry level smart watch this would be fine. If you want an accurate fitness tracker look elsewhere.

The watch functions ate nice to use. I have always used a chest strap for a more accurate heart rate and calorie reading. The heartrate is accurate and pretty much the same as my chest strap. The problem is it doesn't accurately calculate the calories burned. It's about half. There's no way in an hour class at a heartrate from 130-160 that I only burn 160 calories. It is always off. I have complained to Samsung but I have not gotten an acceptable response. I have gone back to using my chest strap with my phone.

I pre-ordered this watch back in March. I've been wearing it daily since then. I decided to try a Samsung/Tizen smartwatch after owning 3 Android Wear devices. Overall I've been happy with the performance of the watch as compared to Wear OS. It's a very decent fitness tracker with good battery life. I find it disappointing that after only a few months of use the black finish of my watch has worn off around the front edges of the bezel. I've also had to buff scratches out of the gorilla glass with tooth paste. I never had to do either of those things with the Android Wear devices I owned. I wore them for much longer periods of time.

It's a nice watch if you plan to be awake for only 10 to 12 hours each day. Mine charges all night & shows 100% charge when I put it on at around 7:30 a.m. By as early as 5:00 p.m. or as late as 7:30 p.m. the watch displays a "low battery" warning & asks "Turn on power saving?" Once on power saving mode, you are no longer wearing a smart watch, just a digital watch. So, actually, it's a 4 star watch until late afternoon & then becomes a 1 star watch so I compromised & gave it 2 stars.

It was a Christmas gift to my father, she really loved he said is easy for him to track his steps everyday!

The watch is not a bad but it has a couple flaws that keep if from being a great watch. The first flaw is the step counting. This watch seems to be way off when counting steps. I have noticed up to a 5k difference between this watch and my fitbit. I have also did manual counts to compare against it and it always falls short. The second flaw which may be do to the first is that my daily calorie count seems low. As for the positives it has a great screen, I like the auto workout tracking and its seamless connection with my galaxy phone.

Amazing watch never had such a great watch. Have had for over 3 years and still works like brand new

This watch is perfect in every way possible, it's the best sports watch I've owned. I'm really confused on the bad reviews. I've had other's and this is the King.

I've had this watch for a week now and it's not working right. It won't let me use the touch screen. Sometimes it won't turn on. I need to talk to someone NOW!

Decent smart watch with good features. Cryptic to find them all. But decent.
