    Good Watch but False Advertisement

This is a decent watch and is fairly intuitive to use. I got it because it indicated that it could measure blood pressure. This however is not true. You need a compatible samsung phone and I'm hearing reports that it isn't working on this watch even with the compatible phones. This is very deceitful and a low blow by Samsung.

    Avoid Samsung Watches!

Watch clams it is water resistant but because of poor build quality water got through the glass backing of my watch. Samsung said it was my fault for letting water get into the watch and voided my warranty. The watch is less than a year old! Avoid Samsung!!!!

    Battery is poor

I got the Samsung Active after returning another brand name watch due to the poor battery life. Today I out my watch on at 8am and by 5pm my watch was at 7% battery life. Is this the same watch that was advertised as having a 24 hour battery life? I am so disappointed.

Hello Adiaha, there are several reasons why your watch may have a reduced battery life. For example, certain apps can increase battery consumption or your Wi-Fi settings may be set to Always on instead of Auto. Please follow this link http://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003232/ for steps on increasing your battery life. If you are still experiencing reduced battery life, please give us a call at 1-800-SAMSUNG. We are here to help! ^Elizabeth Samsung

    Not convenient

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I was hoping a smart watch would make life convenient - not this one. Exercise : 1. Mileage is OFF by about 15%. 2. When it goes into exercise mode, you have to manually change the watch EVERY time you want to CHECK THE TIME. And if you're trying to fit in an exercise before work, on lunch, before a show, etc. then it's NOT convenient. It's an average of 5 steps jogging to glance at the time to see if I can fit another lap in, 3. Auto pause? No. Trust me, I didn't pause. And the random vibrations for auto pause are frequent and distracting -- just let me run! Messages-- I guess it's cool to see if someone texted you or emailed you. But it takes FOREVER to respond unless you're using a generic one pre-programmed in the watch. Just pick up your phone, it'll take less time. Customer service -- HAHA. "Just read the ____." I did. My question is not addressed. Can you answer my question? No.

    Not really compatible with Android.

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Advertises compatible with "Android 5.0 or higher & RAM 1.5GB above" which is not true. I meet both of those and I do not have a messaging or email function on this watch. My calls come through, I can voice text with voice assist, but I do not get notifications of new text messages and cannot see sent messages. Going to return! If this watch worked with my phone, I would love it. I am so disappointed.

After only having this two and a half years, watch will not start up. Followed all troubleshooting steps. Disappointed. Samsung has gone down hill. Even my S21 has major issues.

I have had the watch for less that a month and the strap is already pealing. Very disappointed on poor quality of the watch. For the price, i would have hoped it would have last longer before i had to buy any other replacement straps.

    Poor Quality

I am surprised on how many issues I have had with this Galaxy Watch. First the back button stopped functioning after 3 months. I sent it back and they repaired it. 2 weeks later it started doing the same thing, I called Samsung and send it again to repair, they turned around and send me an email charging $219.00 for it. My advise is not to purchase this watch.

    The worst

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

While this watch is attractive, I've never seen such a poor and ridiculous level of functionality for an activity watch. The screen stay lit naturally. To use the music and running feature without constant disruptions and need for reset is nearly impossible. A mess and a miss in my opinion. And surprising as I've always appreciated Samsung's phones and other products.

used this watch for 3 years then all of a sudden the face doesn't display anything anymore. I tried holding on to both buttons for 10 secs as well as pressing top and button randomly nothing happens. The software reset for the watch app doesn't help either!!!

If I could give a zero star rating, I could

The touch screen on the watch is horrible, in the sense of being overly sensitive and picks up on any type of touch. I'll have my hand behind my back and my watch starts to pick up my shirt and will think it's a hand. It has created events without me knowing and has even sent messages to people that should not be sent.

Hello Gresham, the steps recorded by your Galaxy Watch are an estimate and may vary from the actual step count. This is because certain factors can affect how steps are recorded. For example, steps are only counted when there is hand movement. So, if you push a lawnmower or do an exercise with no hand movement, steps may not be recorded. Other factors, such as environmental conditions or skin conditions, may also affect how well steps are recorded. ^Elizabeth Samsung
