Decided to purchase this once I saw it go on sale. I have been watching it for awhile and finally caught a good price. Watch is awesome so far. I know there are a lot of features that I still have not mastered yet, but for what I need, this watch is more than enough.

I debated anything other than a simple watch for some time. Then the analysis started and it was back and forth on what I really wanted. I determined that there are really three types of these watches. 1 - Basic all purpose closer to a watch than a smart phone (This one) 2 - Middle group which tried to be like a small version of a smart phone, but still needs to be within range of the phone. 3 - Like the middle group, but can use cell signal to avoid needing the smart phone all the time. Option 3 gets expensive, and I believe I would simply find things out on the watch and then look for my phone. Option 2, if it needs to be near the phone to get full functionality of the apps and features, why not just use the phone? Option 1, less apps/features, but what it does have I care about. Simple fitness functionality, Weather, and notifications that there is something to look at on my phone. Perfect fit for me.

I currently own the Gear S2 Classic and the Galaxy Watch in the 42mm size. Both work great, I have no complaints. I am used to the size of the watches but always hoped Samsung would release a smaller and more feminine (sure the rose gold color is feminine but the size and design are bulky and still masculine) model. This watch definitely has what I had been looking for. It is much smaller (40mm) and lighter. Yes, as many have mentioned in their reviews there is no rotating bezel, it just takes some getting used to. It also does not have a speaker, which I don't mind since I prefer to use my Bluetooth ear buds when I make calls. This watch is more for activity tracking therefore it makes sense for this model to be missing the rotating bezel and speaker. Various features such as email, messaging, alarms, or call notifications are still available on this wearable. Overall I am pleased with this watch and recommend it to people such as myself who are looking for a simple light wearable watch.

Got this to replace my gearfit pro 2. Was concerned at first of the shape because I liked the curved face of the gearfit pro2. I was proved wrong. This is a very comfortable watch. Very easy to work the different apps and options. Just wish there were more face options. The gearfit pro2 had a TON.

I wanted a smart watch to go with my galaxy note phone that had all the apps that I thought I needed. I went into Best Buy to switch from Samsung to Apple because I thought I was going to have to get an Apple Watch so that I could have everything I wanted in a smart watch. This watch had only been out for one week when I went into Best Buy and the Best Buy representative suggested I take a look at it. I decided to go ahead and purchase the watch to give it a try really thinking that I was going to return it. But the truth is I absolutely love it, it has everything I need, it is comfortable to wear, it is feminine looking just by changing the watch band. I love it and I’m so happy that Samsung came out with this watch. The battery life is good I get about two days out of each charge. It’s easy to change the settings to customize it the way you want it. The only thing I’d like to see different is more watch faces that can be more customizable than what is currently out there, at least for free.

I was pleased to get this at a good price...though a little disappointed to miss the extra features in the newer model. Myphone is older, and has been losing battery power even faster since I paired it with the watch, so I'll have to see if there's a correlation/

Bought this for my son for Christmas after first buying the Fossil version that was so hot on all the Black Friday ads and realizing the limited functionality. Its a good thing I did - I got the blingy fossil watch and my kids can do way more stuff with their Galaxy watch.

This is my first smart watch. Bought this as a gift for my wife. Pros: You can use this watch to track your life, health, alarms, text messages, stress levels and a daily briefing that syncs to your Google calendar and provides calendar reminders. There are multiple watch faces to choose from. Some are free and others can be purchased through Google Playstore. Works well with Samsung Health. There is a reminder that pops us to ask if she needs to get up and stretch or walk around if it senses she has been sitting too long. Cons: There is a green light on the back of the watch that comes on randomly during the night. At first it was annoying, but she has gotten used to it. Another would be the battery. It takes two hours to charge every other day. Overall, it has been a very good purchase, she likes it a lot and it has fit into her life and work very well. That is all I can ask for from a Xmas gift.

I needed this for work since I can't have my phone on me. It's been great! Get all notifications needed, plus it tracks my sleep patterns, steps, and heart rate which i find interesting. Highly recommend getting a screen protector, scratched the face on the second day changing sheets.

I love the size and style of the watch, upgrades from a fitbit flex 2. But I was used to only having to charge my watch every 2 days and I have to charge this watch nightly. On a positive it charges very quickly.

Super easy to use! Battery life can be better. You can customize your watch to be as simple as you want or as informational as you want. Lots of widgets. Hopefully a new update can allow for more apps to work with the watch! Definitely more than just a Active watch!

Watch works well, and does what it is supposed to do. Loses connectivity to phone on occasion, but quickly reconnects. I purchased this particular watch because of its "smaller" size and its comfortable to wear. Only complaint is that the band is showing wear after a couple of months.

Bought for my wife and she loves it. Upgraded from the sport version and this watch looks and works great. I have the Gear S3 and this is in par with that watch. The only exception would be there is no spin device on the watch face but works great with samsung health.

Track heartbeat, steps,. I recieve my messages, email and daily activities with updates. Also reminds me when i need to get up and stretch and shows me different stretches to do. Comfortable to wear. Charge last almost 2 days. Many choices for face.

I was sure about buying a smart watch. I have two beautiful regular watches and never even wear them so I didn't want this to be a wasted purchase. I'm glad I got it though. I've been doing a lot of running lately and it's so much nicer being able to put music on my watch and not have to carry my phone around. The only issue is that I don't have a Samsung phone so some features don't work as well as if I was. I'm using the Pixel 3 so most features work great but not all work seamlessly. Because on a Pixel 3, it did take a little longer to set up for me. I'm not nearly as tech savvy as I used to be and it showed. I called tech support but they didn't really help me get my music onto the watch. I watched a couple videos on YouTube and that helped. Overall I'm glad I bought this watch and really like it. It is the best looking smart watch IMO and I wanted something smaller, unlike some of the monstrous watches out there.

I love that this watch is small enough for a woman's wrist. The screen quality is great and very lightweight. However, the battery life is not the best. If you are active, this watch will not get you through the day.

I've had this for about a month. Pros: looks great, not bulky, like the different clock faces, like being able to answer a text, (have not answered a phone call yet), can change the band to a different color, comes with 2 sized bands in the box, love the 'get moving' signal when you've been sedate for about an hour. Gets me up and moving. I have an app that is a 5 minute exercise that is great as well. Cons: You HAVE to use 'wireless powershare' as there is no plug port built in. The powershare feature on the phone doesn't work great when you have a cover on the phone, so I have to take that off every time. Aligning it to the center of the phone is tricky as well AND the watch doesn't lay flat, so the connection gets lost. (Earbuds charge much better). The charge only lasts about 30 hours, so I have to charge it daily (my Garmin lasts a week). As long as you know what you are getting into, it is worth it. I have my Garmin to wear when this needs charging and is taking a while.

This has been a great watch thus far. It is a great resource for keeping track of physical activity throughout the day, counting calories, keeping track of water intake, heart rate, and getting notifications from your phone directly on your wrist.

Great for a basic watch and fitness tracking. No ECG monitor and no BP tracking. But I like the streamlined design though. No protruding crown and all that. I got an open box that's why I saved a lot. No scratches, no nothing.

Love the watch. Using it with LG stylo 4 and working well. Helps make me more aware of being active. Can receive and send texts as long as connected to phone. Notification received when call comes in but need phone to talk. Has GPS as well. Awesome watch would recommend.
