I purchased this to replace my Galaxy Sport watch. I love it! My wrist is small so I love the size of the 40mm. It doesn't look bulky at all. I don't miss the rotating bezel from the sport and the pink gold color is a very nice touch. Overall, I love the watch.

The Galaxy Watch Active 2 is one of the best purchases that I've ever made in wearable technology. It delivers with more than adequate battery life, far superior comfort when compared to other products, a feature set that will appease most so-called "Geeks" such as myself, and the availability to add more features and/or applications via the Galaxy app store. The new customizable watch face feature makes the creation of customizable watch faces easy and simple. With just a snap of your clothing, and multiple watch faces are created for you that match your outfit. I also appreciate the much slimmer and sleeker design, when compared to the regular Galaxy Watch. With that, I can confidently say that (at least in my opinion) the Watch Active2 is the most fashionable, functional and flexible. (The Three Fs, as I call it.) It is fashionable, due to its sleek glass, (in my case) aluminum housing, and unobtrusive thickness that is no thicker (if not, thinner) than your average premium analog watch. It is functional, due to the fact that you have all the basic necessities that any digital watch should have PLUS, step tracking, workout tracking, heart rate monitoring, upcoming electrocardiogram capability, text messaging, the ability to accept, decline, and create phone calls, pay for things using Samsung pay, find your phone, the creation and cancellation of alarms and reminders, the ability to check the weather, and have music playback controls (also including track selection), just to name a few. (And I don't think I really need to explain why I think it's so flexible). And just to mention other things I love about the Watch Active2, I love the touch bezel (which is much better than you think it is), I love the SAMOLED display that by default automatically dims to fit the environment that it's in along with providing smooth animations, I love the now larger back button so you can tell that it's different if you're in the dark, I love the ability to triple click the apps/home button to send a message to your emergency contact(s), and so much more. Now here's the part where I would usually explain the cons of the watch/device. But there was an issue, I struggled to come up with any. I would usually have a very long laundry list of cons, but I really don't have any. The only part I can say is a con, is that some people aren't satisfied with the accuracy of the health tracking features. Maybe it's just me, but I really haven't had any. The lack of feminine health tracking might be a con to some women, but I'm not female, so... That doesn't apply to me... That's all I can really say. So in the end, if you are currently looking for a smartwatch to go with your Android device, then I say you should absolutely go with this one. It has many a feature that the competition do not supply, has great battery life, a digital rotating bezel that is the best way to interact with it, a decent amount of customization, and health tracking that I believe to be accurate. (Disclaimer: I am not a health professional by any means, and therefore I am not the first person you should listen to when it comes to advice about health tracking). So, I say it is a very worthy purchase. And I am enjoying my time with it.

Very elegant looking watch. Light weight it's easy to forget I have it on. It accurately. keeps track of steps/calories burned. Has a good battery life. Has many different apps, watch face and functions. Easily customizable to my unique preferences. I love it:)

Im kind of obsessed with this watch, coming from someone who has never owned a watch prior. I purchased this pink watch to match my pink galaxy s21 5G Pairs Perfectly! I also purchased it for the heart rate, stress monitoring and auto workout detection features as they are not available in the new galaxy s21 5G so with this watch i don't miss a beat, literally! You get style and all those features your phone has and much more! Battery life is phenomenal last all day on the go with heavy usage! I banged mine up a bit is delicate so watch those corners and door ways or you will cringe at the damage if your watch hits any hard objects if your anything like me and like to keep everything looking flawless! Very easy to use!

Easy to use, such a good product i love it. You can put different screen faces on it that are cute. I just love it all around.

I have always been interested in the fitness tracking band market since it first emerged over 5 years ago. Since then, I have used a few different Activity Tracker / Smartwatches over the years - including Samsung ones - and I can firmly say that the Galaxy Watch Active 2 is the best by far that I have used. PROS: - The Active 2 made big design improvements for me. I purchased the band in Cloud Silver and I think it’s a great color. It's more of a matte silver and looks a lot more high end than the glossy silver of the previous Active 1 model. On top of that, the buttons are an improved design and the touch rotating bezel is incredible. Very easy controls! - I purchased the 40mm size and it is perfect for me. The Active 2 is about the same body size as the Active 1 but it has a larger screen because its Bezels are smaller. So I think the Active 2 looks big enough to be normal but not too big to get in the way. I personally would not want the 44mm one but that is my opinion. - The Screen is gorgeous. Its more vibrant, colorful, but yet without having to crack the brightness very high to appreciate it. Also as mentioned, the smaller bezel helps improve the overall quality and look of the watch. - Functionality wise, the Active 2 is a game changer. It does everything you would expect from a Smart Watch in terms of notifications, calls, texts, and other options - PLUS it has Spotify Offline. This means you can either Play Spotify via WiFi through your watch or you can download songs on your watch and listen on the go away from WiFi. This is a huge plus for me as it makes it so I can listen to music while working out without the distraction of my phone. - It's also very forward thinking that the Active 2 can be charged on any wireless charging pad. It does come with a small charger but you do not need to carry around that small specific charger to charge it like other smart watches make you do. - As in Activity Tracker, it does everything you want it to. Is it as high end with ever meter like some cray expensive trackers? No. But it doesn't need that. What it does is it tracks your activity throughout the day while, gives you nudges to stay active, and tracks your workouts at the gym. It also most importantly is fully waterproof and you can dive in the ocean with this or just swim in the lake - as I have done both with no issue! - I will also say that the Active 2 has a much improved battery over the Active 1. It lasts longer over time while having a bigger brighter screen and improved features, so all in all its a great battery upgrade! - Lastly, I wear this at night and the sleep tracking is a big help for me. It is important to analyze how you are sleeping so you can focus on how to improve it. CONS: - The legitimately is not much that I don't like about this watch. But something that consistently has bothered me with Samsung Smart Watches is that they do not have an easy way to toggle on/off bluetooth. You have to your settings to turn it off rather than a quick toggle like they have for WiFi and GPS. - Another thing is I wish you could update your Weather over WiFi only. The only way to update your Weather on your watch faces is by being connected to the GPS on your phone. I know this is minor but I wish it could do that. - Storage is limited because there is only 4 GB and the watch software/apps take up more than half of that. Just wish there was more storage for offline music. - Finally, I think this device works best with a Samsung Phone but can work well with other android phones. BOTTOM LINE: - If you are wanting a Smartwatch that will keep you informed, track your activity, handle anything in your life, but still feel like it's not in the way - this is 100% the watch for you. Its classy enough to wear with a nice outfit, yet tough enough to stick with you in the gym or outdoors. I never take mine off and I think you won't either!

I love my watch and I use it every day. I like that it automatically senses workouts like walking or running, and I like that it can track your stress, too! The watch faces are very nice and make my watch stand out from other smart watches. I also love how seamlessly it works with Google Messages. Great product!

love this watch!! keeps me active with alerts to get up and move when im being lazy. absolutely gorgrous design. definitely buy some bumpers for this because i find myself absent mindedly smacking into things with it all the time. its very sturdy with the bumpers on tho and with touch sensitivity on u wont have any problems using the screen with bumpers. the battery life isnt as good as they say it is but it gets me thru more than a days use so it hasnt been a big problem. the battery saving mode will keep it alive for days though! biggest complaint is a lack of decent apps but tbh i dont really need tons of apps for a watch.

It's beautiful and I love the band (it tucks under instead of the usual over-buckle and flapping left-over band). It fits my tiny wrist and the pink looks elegant. Function has been fabulous!!

It works great and there is no issues with Samsung Galaxy A71. 40mm is perfect size for my wife. My wife love this watch, but she wants to get a new watch strap.

I wanted to move from my old fitness device to a smartwatch. I had read many articles and reviews about the Active 2 and did something I rarely do; purchased it shortly after it released. I am glad I did! It looks prettier than the old fitness device I had, and I love being able to change the watch faces to match my mood and clothes. It has many features I use on a daily basis. I have a Samsung Note 10+; the two devices work well together. It took a bit to understand how to use it. I joined a group of Samsung watch users on Facebook; it is helpful to ask questions from more people who have more digital understanding than I have.

Samsung's Galaxy series of smart watches have changed quite a bit over the last few years since the first one was brought out. I have owned just about every one. Have also owned a Apple watch (which was elegant and offered great features). My last Samsung watch was the Galaxy watch in gold. It was gigantic and the shiny gold distracted from the screen. It was very manly looking. I wanted it because there was a speaker. My Gear Sport didn't have a speaker and it only came in black or blue. Otherwise, they both worked fine. I didn't buy the Active because there was no speaker. Waited with anticipation to find out if the beautiful Active2 would have a speaker. It did. Went to try it on at Best Buy and considered both sizes. The 40mm won out. I am a female with an average size wrist. For the first time, an Samsung watch looks good on my wrist. Didn't want to pay the $279 price because I am thrifty, so waited. Wanted the rose gold but also liked the silver. When they had an open box one available, I jumped at the watch. Wanted to see how it worked. Really liked that they were not shiny and distracting and the screen took precedence with no bevel. My only concern was how the glass would hold up to my aggressive physical nature. I have banged my smart watches many times and none of the screens have broken, but there are several scratches on my apple watch screen. The bezel on the samsung watches did help protect my screen. After wearing this watch at my very physical job, I realized I had hit the screen pretty hard one day and there wasn't even a scratch. So, it passed the physical test. Bixby is almost worthless for asking questions but it will allow you to call someone using the watch. As I ride a motorcycle, I sometimes have my watch in my bag. I do not have the LTE version so cannot speak to that. BUT, I have made phone calls using the watch and Bixby and a number from my contact list. Note that the first day that I had the watch that the battery drained rather quickly. After making a few adjustments to background apps and using a different watch face, the battery use improved. This watch is beautiful. I liked it so much that I bought the rose gold one too on an early Black Friday deal.

Inhave owned nearly every model of the Samsung smartwatches and this one is by far my favorite. The design is flawless. Navigation is fairly easy and even a beginner will find this easy to use. I really like the built in rotating bezel. I like the Bixby feature on the watch but I did not use it on my phone. I have the watch paired with my Galaxy Fold and there have been no issues so far.

I purchased this one after my previous Samsung gear watch died on me. I love the sleeker design and honestly I like the color I pick (rose gold and I never was a gold person; looks very good against my skin). I'm still learning it and sometimes the watch won't turn on when I turn my wrist to look at it ( I have to double tap the screen to turn it on). But that's minor and doesn't happen often. I bought it from best buy instead of Samsung or any other place for its warranty and protection program (Samsung doesn't have a "apple care" package and I had a very not pleasant experience with Samsung customer service with my last watch). I love it!

I have 2 phones... my personal cell is a samsung and my work cell is an iphone. The apple watch can only connect to iPhone, while the samsung watch can connect to iphone and android. I chose the samsung watch because it can connect to either one of my phones. Plus, I like the round watch face more than the square apple watch face. I love being able to answer calls thru my watch when I'm away from my desk, and also set reminders on my watch as soon as I think of them.

Fantastic device, i love the ease of use and features

I upgraded from a Fitbit watch, to the Samsung galaxy watch active 2. The first thing I love is that the color is beautiful, and I like the screen face design. However, it only comes with a few designs and then you have to pay for additional designs on your watch. Also the battery doesn’t really last longer than two days even if I turn off all the additional features which seems silly because you want those additional features on your watch. If the battery lasted longer I would give it five stars for sure.
