Really enjoy this watch. Only downside is that the back only lasts for a little over a year. Afterwards you have to buy a replacement back and glue from Amazon. Not difficult but have to do this almost every other year

    Steps

So I got the galaxy 2 and I researched....I asked a question on best buy site about if it would count steps while pushing a cart...someone answered yes but that's not true and I couldn't find my question after that. Like they lied and erased the conversation. But the steps on this watch do not work at all. A coworker has a apple watch and he has double the steps I do during a shift and I'm more active. I had a fit bit and I hardly ever get the steps I did with that. And I know it doest count till you do 15 steps but then when you reach them it should count instead of starting over. Also the app could be better like the fit bits app. The other features I do like. I like to see messages and answer a call. I love that you can put photos on it also. But the main reason I got it was for steps. I've been cleaning my house for two hours and it showed 300 steps which isn't even close. You really need to fix this. Because people will realize and stop buying it. I know I wouldn't never recommend it to someone who is watching steps.

I've had this Active 2 watch for 4 years straight and am just now about to upgrade to the Watch 6 classic, not because there's anything wrong with this watch but because I am getting a excellent deal for the upgrade. The only thing I wish this watch had was an SpO2 sensor. Otherwise, it is an excellent watch. Battery lasts long - takes a full day before needing to recharge with wifi and bluetooth on.

Good and well used for 2 years. But Water resistance is not as mentioned. Even on using it on Water Theme park for 2 hours, it stopped working / charging

Overall a decent watch. Theres a lag when you start workouts if you arent careful it wont actuaĺy start tracking. The cover the screen to put it to sleep feature is also hit and miss. Battery life could stand to be better.

I bought this watch in 12/19 when I was 4 months pregnant. It lasted until 8/20. I always used the "swim" setting when showering. One day after my shower it stopped working. I saw there was a very small wire hanging out the back. Called Samsung and sent it in for repair. They told me it was my fault and that due to liquid damage the warranty was void! Of course there was liquid damage, it broke when I was in the shower. I was told water resistance is not the same as waterproof and that I shouldn't have worn it in the shower. I asked why there was a swim setting if it couldn't handle a shower. The tech had no answer. The next person told me that high altitudes and sudden temperature changes can damage the watch and it was still my fault. I pointed out my high risk pregnancy and subsequent c section. I haven't done any recent mountain climbing or sky diving activities, but in the end, Samsung refused to honor their warranty and wants to charge me the same price as a new watch just to fix the one that should be covered under warranty! This seems to be a consistent problem with the company based on other reviews.

    Poor activity tracking

I got this watch to replace my failed Fitbit Charge 3 so my primary use is for fitness tracking. Sadly, it fails miserably for that. Although it has a heart rate monitor, it does not use that information when calculating calories burned so all other things being constant (duration, height, weight, etc...), it will always show the same number of calories burned. This is not useful and certainly not what I would expect of a watch that is supposed to have fitness tracking. Another issue is the number of floors climbed. The Samsung Health app on the watch indicates that it will take 10' of climb to increment the count. It actually takes 13' or the height of a flight of stairs in a commercial building. Sadly, the distance between floors in my house is only 9'. Neither of these were issues with my Charge 3. Beyond the fitness issues, it is a really nice smartwatch. It is a pretty look although 40mm is still rather large for my small wrist, but probably necessary for using and viewing the apps. It uses both bluetooth and wireless to sync with my phone and doesn't have the connection issues that my Charge 3 had. Or at least, I have not yet experienced any issues there. There is a nice selection of apps with even 3rd party apps being available for download. I like that it has Samsung Pay so I don't have to pull out my phone. I should note that regarding the issue with not using BPM in the calories burned, I did initially work with Samsung to try to resolve the issue, but was unsuccessful and they suggested sending the watch to them so that they could fix it. As it was still within the Best Buy return period, I opted to exchange the watch for another one. The behavior of the 2nd watch is the same so it is design fault and not an issue of a faulty device.

Small and feminine, but still easy to read interface. This watch makes keeping in contact with my phone easy as i keep my phone on silent. The 'Find my phone' feature is also priceless. I misplace my phone all the time.

It is light, I am able to wear it all day, does not feel bulky. Like it a lot better then the Apple series 3 I had right before this purchase. I charge it every other day, it can even go longer but I like to keep my battery 50% or higher. It records my heart rate through out the day and is very accurate. Also recognizes my workout right away, the apple would notice I was working out about 20-30 minutes into it.

    Horrible Company

ALWAYS always bought Samsung everything. Bought this watch beginning of May. It's September 3rd and it wasn't holding a charge so Best Buy had me send it in to Samsung. Samsung said it's not under warranty because there was water damage. Mind you, I've never submerged it in water even though it says it's water resistant and can be under water up to five feet for 30 minutes. Obviously false advertisement. I've always been a huge fan of Samsung buying every phone as well as tvs and now this watch. To say this buy is risky would be an understatement. Will be taking my business to Apple now. Best buy was a great help but unfortunately Samsung was not. Super disappointed.
