For the most part I liked everything about this watch.

Loved it goes great with my galaxy phone, easy to use.

My wife got one of these last year. She wore it daily until it recently got stuck in a boot loop cycle. We sent it in to Samsung since it's under manufacturer's warranty. They took it apart and immediately voided the warranty claiming water damage. That's curious for a watch that you are supposed to be able to swim with and can withstand 5 atmospheres of pressure (roughly 75psi, or 164 ft of water). All my wife ever did was wear the watch while she was washing her hands. She's never gone swimming with it, or even taken a shower with it. So we're very disappointed in the durability of this otherwise amazing watch as well as disappointed with Samsung.

I really liked this watch but unfortunately, the battery or something stopped working after a year and the watch would not turn on. Prior to that it was a great device

My wife has had her watch for less then a year and she has taken excellent care of it. Today the back 9f the watch came of and samsung will not warranty it because they are saying it is considered physical damage. If you are going to buy this watch, you should buy the geeks squad protection because samsung will do nothing for you in a few months when it starts falling apart! I would lo8j else where for a smart watch if you are going to spend d this much money... it should last more then 8 months.

samsung you guys have to do a better job in keeping your word in your warranty Instead of making excuses why not fix the things. I bought a Samsung active 2 watch for my daughter and it stop working. We send it in to Samsung and they came back with defective product caused by water damage, when my Daughter never puts it in water. The watch looks immaculate because she bought a watch cover as soon as she got the watch. If people look up these issues with Samsung they will see how many people have complained about the same problem that we been having. We talked to Samsung twice and they supposedly were going to fix it as a one time Samsung complementary because of of all the darn things that I have bought from Samsung. But 2 weeks later they came back and said they were not going to do it. It's so pathetic that they would pay for all that advertising to gain sales just to turn around and do these. All my tv's (5) sounds bar, washer( in which it's already getting corrosion on the top after 4 years, my fridge (which Ice maker is not working anymore, after 8 months) are Samsung. Oh and all my families phones(6) are Samsung. I guess it's time to just look for other companies that are more reliable. Gosh only if I could add pictures and videos of all the darn Samsung product that I have and all there issue's.

I've owned this watch for a year, it isn't worth it. Better off with a fitbit. DO NOT buy this if you are looking for a watch with an emergency alert feature or fall detection that actually works. This is just one issue with the watch (but certainly the worst). Other issues include Bixby always requiring updates before it will work, Bixby updates constantly failing, and calorie tracking being removed from the watch in September. That's right, it doesn't even count calories anymore. The watch comes with an "SOS" feature, where if you press a button 3 times or if you fall it will alert your emergency contact and get you help. Sounds great, right? Nope. Samsung constantly disables the feature in the phone app without your knowledge. You'll likely not even realize they've done it. I've contacted them about it and they said they would fix it and it still happens six months later. Just today, I went back in to the app to see if it was still on and it wasn't (this happens about once a month). When I went to turn it on I was greeted with a notification that I needed to accept new terms. So they disabled the feature this time so I'd have to agree to new terms. How would I do this if I was lying on the floor after falling down a flight of stairs? This is ridiculous. The whole point of it is that when you need it, it should work. I guarantee people have died because they tried to use this life saving feature and it didn't work because Samsung randomly disables it.

The back came undone at the 1 year mark. I never even wore it in water.

Entire watch is crap. Battery life is so bad that if you actually want it to last a day, you can't use any of the "smart" features of your smart watch. Gotta charge it so constantly, can't track your sleep. If you use it to track exercise, battery is dead, all gone.

Upgraded from the Gear Sport to Active 2. Had to contact Samsung directly as it was glitching from the very start. When in motion, it would constantly switch between all the apps. When inactive, the bezel would not move but the watch continued to vibrate. Brought it back to Best Buy after 2 days & they experienced the same issue. I was bummed but ended up with the FitBit Versa 2 even though I have a new Galaxy phone. I was so excited for an upgrade.

Honestly if I could give it less than one star I would. Bixby hardly ever works for me and it doesn't track my steps correctly. I will be walking around and it will still say I haven't been walking. I wish I would have never bought it.

watch overheated for first time 2 months after purchase. Samsung repaired it and it overheated after one week. They refuse to replace it until it has been repaired again!!

Can’t receive texts with iPhone. Did several trouble shooting suggestions and talked to Samsung and they said you can’t receive texts at all on iPhone.
