Totally Worth It!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Galaxy Watch Active 2 is exactly as described. It's got so much functionality, heart rate monitor, steps, exercises and the list goes on. Not only for physical activity either. You can read text messages that you receive on your phone on this watch and also answer phone calls. I absolutely think this is the best bang for your buck. You won't regret purchasing this watch.

Samsung Galaxy Active 2 Watch Review
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this watch. It has customization options, the ability to see messages and other important info without taking my phone out, and fitness options, just to name a few of the many actions and applications available. I can stay informed and up to date. The only downside was due to my not owning a galaxy phone, dealing with messages is a little more of a hassle to use.

Good in all ways except the one reason I needed it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The watch was comprehensive and great to use (i'll mention pros later). However, the main reason I bought it was because I wanted a smart watch that had an Always On Display option and would show the analog clock always (including the second hand). The bad thing was when Always On Display was on, it would sense you turn your wrist away and dim the screen, so you could view the analog face, but the seconds hand disappeared (almost the watch had a slight sleep mode on). As a Vet Tech, I needed to see the seconds for over a minite straight sometimes to record healthy heartbeats and respiratuon rates, yet couldn't do that. I even tried turning off the "Wake up gesture" mode, and extended the screen timeout, but the seconds wouldn't show for long enough and I'd have to tap the screen again (if I had a free hand). I checked with Samsung and Reddit, and other reviews, and no one has a solution for this sadly. Besides that main flaw, the watch is great in almost every other way, fits well, beautiful display, the adjustable settings like brightness, sound, notification sounds, app organization, wallpaper and clock customization, are all great and offer a variety. Though I was never able to get a good reading using the EKG, and wish the battery could last at over 2 days rather than barely over a day, but that was fine. It even had the cutest speaker, counted my laps in the swimming pool, and showed notifications well on the watch. So if you plan to get the watch and need an analog clock face to manually count seconds for over 30sec straight, stay away from the watch. For every other reason like playing music without your phone, having a calculator/timer/calendar/stress reader/fitness tracker/device to help find your phone/ etc. this watch is great! (Charge every night though to avoid it dying in the middle of second day use).

Pretty watch but horrible battery life
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from a Fitbit watch, to the Samsung galaxy watch active 2. The first thing I love is that the color is beautiful, and I like the screen face design. However, it only comes with a few designs and then you have to pay for additional designs on your watch. Also the battery doesn’t really last longer than two days even if I turn off all the additional features which seems silly because you want those additional features on your watch. If the battery lasted longer I would give it five stars for sure.

Amazing Watch, Vivid and Crisp Colors
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to reward myself and purchased the Galaxy Watch Active2 40mm Aluminum. The watch is amazing, from the easy setup, the flexability to choose my watch faces to the Apps I want to appear. The colors are so vivid and crisp. I can view text messages, emails and notifications at a glance without having to touch my phone. I am very pleased with this watch. Excellent job Samsung.

It was great, for a while.
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After some adjustment my wife loved this watch. She teaches nursing students and does some home care and loves the different faces and timers and the ability to get messages without pulling out the phone. A little over half a year watch came on in the middle of the night and started cycling as if it was restarting. A reset didn't seem to cure it. Sent it in to the manufacturer under warranty and the were very prompt in letting us know there was water damage, which wasn't covered despite its water resistance, and the cost to repair it was going to be about the same as the watch cost me. Since the closest my wife gets to water with it on is washing her hands. Well, the customer service rep was very helpful in getting them to send the watch back to me as is, where in now sits gathering dust in my 'Drawer of Disappointments'

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Galaxy Watch stopped working so I got this one, which is actually what I originally wanted. The battery lasts 2 days, if just using it for connecting your phone and tracking steps. Love the pink color and lightweight and not bulky, as well. Definitely happy with my purchase and so much cheaper than the Galaxy Watch.

Exactly What I was Looking For
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is exactly what I was looking for in a watch. I had a fitbit charge 2 before, and the notifications weren't great on it, but this Samsung phone works perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy S9+. I love the notifications and ability to text from my watch and get all my notifications on my watch. The fitness part is great too and works just as great as my fitbit.

Great smartwatch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very pleased with my purchase. I have the Samsung galaxy Gear s3 for 4 years which still works. I wanted a smaller watch to fit my small wrist better. I have no complaints with either watch. I recommend them if you have a Samsung smartphone. These Samsung watches work perfectly with Samsung smartphones.

Great watch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This new Galaxy Active 2 watch does it all!! I’m not a fitness fanatic, so I will not comment on the accuracy of the calorie count or heart rate monitor. I'm happy to know my daily steps taken, be reminded to move when I've been sitting too long at my computer, know my ticker is still tick’n, and receive kudos when I've reached my daily goal.

Beautiful watch but.....
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned this watch for 8 months & have loved it! I take great care of it, wear it all day every day except when showering or having my hands in water. I did a lot of research before purchasing, in the end it came down to looks & I'm a Samsung girl & wanted to continue using their health app. The battery life is less than ideal, I don't have it set to 'always on' & basically have to recharge every 36 hrs, w/ 'always on' it's daily. I'll put it on charge when I take my shower so that hasn't been too much of an issue, but I was a little jealous when a friend visited for a week & didn't have to charge her FitBit once! Yesterday the sensor on the back fell off when I went to put it on the charger. The glue that was used to attach it had kind of dissolved & became gummy, I immediately turned it off & put it up to prevent any damage to the inside & now I'm waiting to hear back from Samsung since it's still covered under warranty. I discovered in the Samsung community that this is a frequent issue people have w/ this watch. I'm very disappointed since this was an expensive watch & I've taken such good care of it. I'm hoping Samsung will be able to fix this for me but if I have to replace it I doubt that I'll purchase another Samsung watch because of this issue & the battery life, which is a shame because this is beautiful.

Best watch I've had.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this to replace the trainwreck that was the fitbit sense. This does more than any fitbit, and for a lot less money. Much better companion to my samsung. Highly recommend. If you are used to fitbits battery life, you will need to charge this more often, almost daily. I found my new favorite watch.

All in one wrist watch
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it is a very beautiful watch with accurate blood pressure, heart rate measurements, can receive calls, emails, texts. It seems not to work with Facebook but only Facebook messenger, it works with Instagram etc. Its price value is very good compared to apple smart watch with similar features.

Very nice, fully functional for a great price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Functionality, looks, features, etc. all very good. It doesn't connect with the 'Mirror' for heart rate monitoring, but that's a limitation of the Mirror and the WatchOS that this uses. Unfortunately after 3 weeks of wearing we're going to have to return or sell it, it hurts her wrist, high, low, tight, loose, etc. and she just can't deal with it.

Phenomenal fitness watch!
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wore a FitBit well a few different ones for several years now, decided to switch to the Galaxy Watch Active 2 to try it out, I wanted it for my work outs and my calorie counting. This watch doesn't disappoint! It has such a nice clean display, loud watch, I can call and text thru it either with my voice or the on screen keyboard or just skipping my finger on the screen to text(which is what I do) so responsive. I pair it with my Note 10+ and its just a awesome duo together. They sync very well together. Its like having my phone on my wrist! Its such a handy watch! And they finally released the ECG option and that is so handy to use! As soon as I take a reading, the results go straight to my phone and I can share it with my doctor. It records workouts very well with voice prompts and has a rep counter. I just love this watch! It does everything a fitness watch should! With a few extra perks. 5 stars!

Love This Watch, But....
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this watch! This purchase was made to replace my Fitbit Versa, which died only 14 months after purchase--never again! So, after much research, chose this item and have absolutely no regrets. The features, functions, screen clarity, and customizable options are incredible! Workout features have been great! The only downsides to this item are it's short battery life (I get about 2 days) and the stair flight count. After a few weeks of trying to figure out why I was getting no stair count, I found out that this item only counts a flight of stairs if you complete a minimum of 10 feet incline. Most stair flights in homes are 9 feet, hence, even though I was continually going up and down my stairs, there was no count!! Sure wish Samsung would re-engineer this feature!!!!--and push an update!!! BTW, where's the promised EKG feature??? Anyway, with that all said, I still give it a 5 star rating as compared to my Fitbit Versa!!

Great smart watch for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this watch for my wife and she loves it. Isn't bulky like some of the smart/fitness watches. It does everything the apple watch does at a lower price. Would definitely recommend this watch. You have to charge it everyday but you need to do that with your phone too.
