So far so good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loving my new Galaxy Active 2 watch. It has good functionality, doesnt weigh too much, and was easy to get used to. The only complaints I have so far are about the battery life and the app controls. The battery life is decent-about a day and a half but the capacity seems to diminish quickly. I think I was getting about 2 days initially. The other issue are the app controls... in order to take the watch out of power saving mode you have to use the app (as far as I have been able to figure out), you cant undo it from the watch like you can with an Apple watch. I'm also generally just not a fan of the Samsung fitness tracking app that is compatible with the watch and the galaxy phones.

Text, email, calls, activity track and remind!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having access to all that on the wrist is very handy! This was an upgrade after my gearfit2 fizzled out. Even though it left two temporary battery circles on my wrist when it last fizzled, I loved the apps. While bigger than the gearfit2, if it was any smaller I could not read the text. It is a good size. The only negative is the touch screen sensitivity when I inadvertently touch the watch face. Bumping it against a leg, or another person, or sometimes a pillow will activate the touchscreen.

Love this smartwatch!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect smartwatch for anyone wanting to be more active. I haven't tried all of the features yet but it seems pretty simple to track lots of different kinds of activities. Easy to keep up with your notifications when your phone isn't on hand. Love the smaller size for my smaller wrist but the original band was too stiff & made it not fit snuggly against my wrist so I put a different band on mine. Simple to charge but I wish it was compatible with my husband's charger for his Galaxy watch.

Galaxy Watch Active2
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this on sale and think it is very worth it. I love the pink gold color and the watch itself is the most comfortable I have worn. I used to have a Fitbit and slept with it on to get sleep tracking and it was always a nuisance. I slept with this one and I can barely feel it on. In terms of actual functions, it pairs well with the Samsung phone and I get all my notifications. I dont really use it for fitness, other than walking, but that has been good so far.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a fitbit versa. And I am loving it. I love I can respond to text and answer calls and still get my fitness things tracked. The only downside is the battery.

Samsung- Galaxy Watch Active 2 Smart Watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for the health oriented features. I love the reminders, the various features synced with the cell phone, and the other features. I got this as a gift. I was asked what I wanted for Christmas and this was what I wanted. It is an awesome watch. I used to have another brand of a smart watch, but I like this one so much better. I recommend this watch to others who want to monitor their exercise, lifestyle activities, and their health. Great watch.

Switched over from Fitbit And.....
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this watch and the versatility it offers. All the bells and whistles (many of which I don't even use) easy to put on into biking/running/etc modes. The only thing that bothers me (just a smidge) is that it does not seem to calculate the steps as well as the Fitbit did. That being said -it does do a better job of telling me when I have been sitting too long (desk job). Also - the band that comes with the watch is SO much better than other standard bands = I have sensitive skin and this does not irritate it the way the FB out-of-the-box on did. Overall - I think this was a nice upgrade and I really enjoy having a watch that is not a square face.

I have since upgraded and writing reviews to get Best Buy points. I now own the Galaxy Watch 4 and traded this into Samsung but it was a great watch battery could of been better but it didn't bother me. I charged it once a day like I do my phone.

Nice looking watch
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a beautiful watch. Most everything worked well out of the box. Pairing worked well, but the battery has to be charged every night. Still, it'll last at least 9 or 10 hours for me. Also, some of the health features seem more like gimmicks, like the stress test. Texting is ok, but it does confuse some of the letters when drawing them and the keyboard is very inefficient. I liked the idea of the bezel, but it seems too thin and occasionally will select an item while scrolling using the bezel. Overall, a good purchase.

Good...
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I already reviewed these but in different size, the other ones were 44mm. I bought the 40mm Galaxy Watch for my mom and after like a year of use they became very laggy for her and the battery became very poor, it doesn't hold a lot of energy now. She is an active person and goes to gym every 2 days, plus we all hike each month on moderate trails. The functions in the watch are very good and there is a lot of variety of exersizes. I would recomend buying a screen protector if you are doing an outdorrs sport. I personally scratched my same watch when I was hiking with my family.

It's ok.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently switched to android. The only thing that kept me with iOS so long was the apple watch. Wore it every day for a couple years. I bought this watch because it was well reviewed, had similar features, and wasn't as expensive as the newest Samsung watch. Before my apple watch I used an older Garmin Forerunner for activities and a regular watch for life. Pros- It looks like a normal watch. Customization is in line with android devices. Had all the functions I needed or wanted. Effortless to sync and setup. Battery life was really good. It would last for a day and a half with excessive use, brightness, workout tracking, etc. I never slept with it on my wrist though. Solid, attractive design and build. It didn't feel cheap or generic. Cons- Screen. It looked good, but when it it wasn't centered when dimmed. So, in whatever always on mode I tried, once I pressed the screen it would shake and move slightly. It was the strangest thing, maybe a glitch, but annoying. Screen again. Not as responsive as the apple watch. Heart rate monitor was not accurate. Pretty much ever. During my first workout, within the first few minutes it was telling me my heart rate was over 200. Simply not accurate. Workout functions were ok, didn't automatically detect or suggest what I do the most so I had to cycle through the menu. That seems nit-picky, but when you have to do it after not having to do it for so long you wonder why you need to start. Only came with one sized band. Had I not spent so much time with an apple watch I really would have loved this. It just never reached the ease of use and "just works" levels I was used to. If I were just looking for a fitness watch, this would have been perfect if not for the heart rate monitor, a fairly large if considering. Maybe the quirks of mine were defects, I don't know. $250 is a lot to put out for something you are just OK with though.

Substitute for Personal Trainer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initially bought this to track my steps, not having to bother with my cell phone on long walks. Then became acquainted with different apps. Now its very presence, urges me to do crunches, planks etc, since I activated the 'workout' app.The app numerically tracks movement. It is a constant reminder of what you have-or have not done-to meet your goals.More than worth the purchase price, relatively easy to activate and comfortable on the wrist.Highly recommend!!!

Just a great watch.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always been a fan of the samsung line of watches. Not being biased to other watches, since i've used and still own quite a few other brand smart watches. This item was purchased for my girl as a replacement to an aging TicWatch. She needed something that would hold up against spills, dirt and other bodily *stuff* that would maybe hit it in the process of her job. With her being an ER nurse, she very frquently comes into contact with very gross situations that would be very difficult to clean from ordinary watches or even smartches with external moving or rotating faces or knobs. That being said, it's worked wonderfully against all situations she's ran into. The features have come in very handy for her job. From little things that we normally take for granted or on a regular basis we don't ever use, she's found them to make her job very easy. The sleep monitor has been a very solid staple with her since it's helped her find some issues with her sleep habits. The heart-rate monitor has come in very handy with her workouts and day-to-day activities. She's honestly used more features and options on that watch than I ever have. The clean aesthetic look of the watch makes it a joy for any outfit or srubs combination she chooses. It's not bulky or uncomfortable. The options for bands is great, because she tends to go through a few of them. Overall a great option for a smart watch
