Its a very good smart watch. With all the latest updates its got better and more features and getting close to watch 3. Pretty happy with all features like sleep tracking, heart rate, ecg, steps etc. It has a collection of workouts routines as well. Battery is 1 day for me, would love if it can stay for 3 days.

I thought I would miss my physical bezel but the virtual bezel is even better. This watch is much lighter than my bulky Galaxy Watch which was always an issue for me. I love the design much better. Very sleek and sophisticated. However outside of the look and feel, it's not so much of an upgrade. The features are the same.

Purchased this for my wife and she loves it. Her favorite items: look, weight, UI, notifications display, and Google Fit tracking. Negatives: Dearth of apps in store. The same is true of Wear OS but slightly worse. If the default apps do not cover your needs, you will most likely not be able to find a replacement in the store.

I love my watch. It is really comfortable. I need to say that it is my first smart watch. Really nice the health-tracking features. I got mine on a special price. I also love the clean design. I noticed there are a huge options for watch faces. The battery life can last about 3 days, perfect for me.

I've been looking for a smart watch for my nephew for a long time that I can afford so I thought it was Samsung. I said if he doesn't want it, I'll wear it even I have an apple watch but when he saw the box he hurriedly opened it and set the time & everything. And he said, "My Auntie not only beautiful and kind but generous." and he went out & proud to tell to his neighbor's friend

I got this for my GF and loved it! Works like a charm and is more efficient at work not having to look at her phone all the time for calendar reminders, calls, messages, etc. At home she uses it to track her workouts and stuff so she has it on all time. Best accessory i got her for her needs

For my wife's first smart watch, she found the style, color, and size of this watch perfect. Easy to pair to your phone, easy to set up. Has great features that are easy to use and understand. The fitness and sleep trackers are great. Especially the reminders to get up and move when sitting at a desk too long..... Great watch !

    Problem with Android Work Profile

This is my first smartwatch. I've been wearing this watch day/night for 1.5 months. It feels comfortable, resistant to water splashes (handwashing), and minor bumps. I once had a similarly sized watch before and it felt heavy and pushes into my skin as I flex my wrist. The Samsung Galaxy Active 2 feels light and comfortable; none of those problems. I found that the most useful thing of this watch, besides the time and date that my old watch also tells me, are the weather info and phone call notification. I always keep my phone on silent and vibrate only for personal reasons, and that also means that I often missed calls because the phone vibration is very subtle when you are in motion. I get a much better alert of any phone calls now with the watch vibrating on my wrist. Answering calls directly on the watch has proven useful for a couple of occasions. However, the speaker is poor quality, but the other side says that my voice comes through okay. I would like to use the watch to organize my work life better. However, the Work Profile (as required by my company) emails and calendar notification do not get through to the watch. The Calendar app cannot be linked to my work profile either. Hopefully in a future app upgrade. This is the main reason I'm giving it 4 stars. There's of course the usual track my heart rate, exercise and sleep. I'm not a health fanatic, so the latter are just gimmicky to me.

Do not buy - sweat causes "liquid damage"

    Posted .

My husband's Active2 watch screen began to stop working after 5 months. He is a runner and works outside and has never worn his watch in shower or pool, etc. We sent it into Samsung warranty dept who then denied the claim for liquid damage. They asked for $220 to repair the LCD screen and I didn't even pay that much for the watch. Six conversations later, with supervisors and inspection tech, no one would send me photos of what the supposed damage looked like. The box even states water-resistant up to 50 meters and to run it under fresh water to clean. What a crock. I am so upset with Samsung that I will NEVER buy another one of their products.

Purchased for wife - and she's very happy with the watch. She already has a galaxy phone, so the smartwatch was a natural choice for her to get into wearables. There was some back & forth over the 40mm vs 44mm, and we're happy we went for the 40mm for her. As a man, 40mm would have been too small for me, but perfect for her.

I went from a Fitbit Versa to this. The only thing that I dont like is that I feel like it has to be charged more often than my Fitbit. But this also has a lot more functions. I was on the fence about this one or sticking with the Fitbit, I loved all the Fitbits I've had, but I am also really glad that I got this one.

I made this purchase to replace my fitbit which I could never get to sync with my Samsung phone when my work iPhone was around. This definitely solved the problem. So far it has worked great although I seem to have to charge the battery every day and it takes a long time to charge.

I came from the Gear S2. I know, I know, I know... it was time for an upgrade. Really like how smooth it is with a digital bezel. I like the speaker and the little features it has better coming from the Gear S2. Being able to have ringtones from the phone. Connecting to the Ear Buds, Goodnight mode. The battery to me is better. I use to have to charge my Gear every night. Now I can sleep with the watch on and still have about a half or of battery life left when I wake up. I originally ordered the Cloud Silver which is a different unique color, but when I went to the store I saw the Aqua black, which to me is more of a dark navy blue (some say dark green) and exchanged colors. Matches easier with bands. Now just waiting on the ECG to work

This is my first smartwatch and I'm enjoying it. It makes it fun to keep up with my fitness, and I really like using it with the Samsung Health app to track my meals and monitor my sleep habits. I have a small wrist and the watch fits well without compromising the size of the watch face. I definitely recommend.

I have this to my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it! Some of the other Samsung watches are too clunky, but also I think this one’s fitness features make it pretty great. He has been playing with it all day, will update review with more thoughts later on (if he can remember to charge it!)

This is my first smart watch so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it is great. In this era of coronavirus, its no-touch payment function has been really helpful. Other functions I really like are the call functions and the messaging. In using the call functions I've had no problem hearing the call and the person had no issues hearing me. I really like the ability to write on the screen to comoose a text message too. What is lacking for me is the heart rate monitor. I'm not sure if it's because I have tattoos on my wrists, but it often says that I need to clean the sensors to take a reading. I also tried the continuous monitoring for a workout once and was not super impressed. I have a polar watch with a chest strap that I prefer for that, but I'll tinker around with it a bit more since I could just need to get more familiar with it. There are other widgets that hold promise, like water, caffeine, calories, sleep, etc, but I don't sleep with the watch on and I have no desire to track my water or caffeine intake. I do want to track calories but I can't foresee using the watch to input data. I'll look to see what calories tracking apps it can interface with because seeing it on the watch after entering it elsewhere would be useful. I do like the step count and the little badges and messages it gives when you reach certain milestones. The watch bands are easy to change too. Overall I'm happy with the watch and look forward to learning even more about it.
